I guess we we're all surprised everything had been going to smoothly.  The team was starting to get jumpy and I think everyone could tell.  I had been getting letters from my mom, which I hadn't bother to read or respond to since she left, even though my father urged me too.  I just could bring myself to forgive her.  Two things you should know about me: I am very good at holding grudges, and I don't trust easily.  My mother had learned both of those.  But it didn't bother me as much as I thought it would.  I was happy with it just being me, my dad, and the several other agents here that I had learned to trust, most of them being the avengers with the exception of Agent Coulson.  I don't think anyone could NOT trust Coulson.

Dad, Hawkeye, and I were in the training room when the alarm went off.  Hawkeye and I were playing a game kind of like horse, seeing who could make the trickiest shots with the other following behind.  So far I had  H O R and surprisingly, Clint had a H.  Dad was laughing saying that I was going to kick Hawkeyes tush because I was Asgradian and I inherited Dad's trait of competiveness.  I had just made an awesome shot with my recurve that Hawkeye would have trouble shooting when a blaring loud alarm went of in time of flashing white lights.  Clint immediately went into "agent mode", gathering his arrows and making a plan of ambush with Dad.  I ran down to the target to grab my arrows as well and as I returned I heard Hawkeye telling my Dad about a safe room to put me in.  I jumped into the conversation at that point.

"No Dad, I'm not being shoved into a room, I will at least stay at the bridge with Coulson and the rest of the agents" I said stubbornly.

Dad looked me in the eyes, the same colors as his, partially ignoring Clint's side of the argument.  It only took him a few seconds to reach his decison.

"Okay." He started, "I trust you in the hands of Phillip, Son of Coul, but you have to promise not to venture into the heart of the fight."

I nodded my head, "Of course, Dad, I promise."

Dad nodded, and with that, Hawkeye and I strung out bows, and we entered the fray of the fight.
