Thor's POV

I was battling with Loki when I heard the unmistakeable sound of thunder crashed across the sky as a bolt of lightning struck the man holding my Jane at gun point. The man was immediately paralyzed as his heart gave out on him. Jane stumbled but was caught by Steve AKA Captain America. Agreeing that Jane was safe I carried on with my battle. Seconds later Loki realized the predicament he was in and he and his army vanished. I wasted no time sprinting to my daughter's side. As soon as I reached her she lost conciousness. There was a substantial amount of blood covering her clothes which worried me but Banner assured me that nothing major had been hurt. "It was a clean thrust and didn't go all the way through," he said, but that did nothing to assure a worried father. I may have only known I had had a child for no more than twenty minutes but that didn't change anything. I would protect her the best I could and take her someday to meet her grandparetnts in Asgard. I was still angry with Jane and as we loaded my child into the helicopter I barely spared her a glance as she sat on the other side of her and grabbed her hand. I pushed my girl's hair back from her head and noticed happily that it was blonde with unruly curls much like mine. "Adda," I heard Jane whisper as she looked up at me, "Addaline Amelia Thordottir." I let a smile slip through as I nodded in agreement, "Adda." I tried to hold no regrets against Jane as she told me what had happened. How she had left my dear Adda on the steps of an orphanage as if she were a common child, which then I guess she was, to what had happened in the last few hours with the kidnapping and hostage situation. She told me proudly of how Adda had spit in Loki's face when he had asked her name. This earned a chuckle from Stark, AKA Iron Man, "I like her already," he told me. I had a feeling everyone would. I filled the rest of the team and Jane in on how Adda's powers had been awakened to her full demigod strength. Since the day she was born she had most likely had heightened senses, which is why she should have been with me, in Asgard, training and playing like normal demigods. But I had to accept that she was human by nature now, and that it may take her a while to adjust to being a demigod and having a demigod father. And if her actions today showed any representation of the future, I had a feeling she would be fine, and make me a very proud father.

Adda's POV

I awoke in a room I never remembered entering. Although that doesn't mean much since I don't even remember passing out. I blinked my eyes a couple of times against the bright lights and stirred a little against the scratchy sheets. A second later a hand grabbed mine and face appeared in my vision. I blinked a few times until the face became focused... "Thor?" I mumbled, still not fully awake. "Yes child," he deep voice echoed in the room, "and you may call me father or dad if you like, but it's completely up to you." He replied, seeming a little hesitant. "Dad? So you really are my father?" I asked him. "Yes," he chuckled, "and a very proud one at that. Do you remember anything of what happened in the desert?" He asked. I had to think a second. I remember actually meeting my father, and then getting stabbed and the strange bolt of lightning, but not much between that and meeting Jane in the library. "I remember meeting my mother, Jane, and I'm kind of spotty between then and seeing you and the other men arrive. But I do remember being stabbed." I winced as I went to feel the wound only feel a thick bandage that went all around my waist. Dad seemed to wince as well, "Yes, well, I'm sorry I couldn't keep that from happening. But Banner took good care of you." I nodded as I just looked at him. He stared back, meeting my eyes with a smile pulling at the corners of his mouth. He arched an eyebrow questioningly. "What?" he asked. I just shook my head and smiled. "You know, we really do look a lot alike." I told him. He let out a belly laugh and replied. "Why yes, yes we do."
