I was three weeks into my training when my Dad first noticed my necklace.  Steve was lecturing at me while he was teaching me some obscure fighting form that an enemy could easily reach for the necklace and choke me out with it.  I retaliated with my smart ass way they had become accustomed with that there was no way in hell someone could choke me out with it, that is would break to easy.  Natasha then preceded to come up behind me and, indeed, choke me out with my own necklace.  I tapped Nat’s arm to let her know she had won but continued to argue that I wouldn’t take it off, that I never had, never will.  It was then that Dad came around and asked to see the necklace.  I reluctantly handed him the necklace from around my neck.  My father’s eyebrows knit together as he studied the necklace.  “Adda,” he asked, “do you know what this symbol is?”  I shook my head no, and responded, “I’ve had it as long as I could remember, Mrs. Bleu doesn’t even know where it came from.”  The God of Thunder shook his head in wonder.  “This is a Triquetra,” he told me, “It is the symbol of protection of our people.”  I just looked at him and shrugged my shoulders, “I have no clue where it came from.  As far as I know I’ve always had it.”

Loki POV

Loki held the mindless minion who stabbed the yound girl against the wall in a choke hold.  “I told you to cause her no physical harm you idiot!” The poor man coughed as he tried to spew his reply.  As Loki released him he gathered his breath and said, “you slapped her, so I figured physical harm was okay then.”  Loki simply steamed. “I slapped her to show her who was boss and try to keep her from remembering me.  I don’t care what you say or how much I despise my fool of a brother, but that girl is still my kin and as long as I am around she will be harmed no further!”  “Yes sir,” everyone is his mindless army replied.  The god of mischief stalked back to his corner, a dank room that was his makeshift center of intelligence.  As much as Loki tried to convince himself, he still cared deeply for the girl.  He had kept an eye on her as a child, too afraid to tell his brother in fear that he would rip the child away and he would never get to see her again.  He protected the girl and watched from afar as she grew up and began her search for her parents.  He knew it wouldn’t be long before she found them and knew of her true heritage.  Once she had contacted her mother he knew he could no longer hide in the shadows.  He had to come out as the villain, once again, to keep the one who controlled him from hurting her also.

Once again, i am truly sorry for not updating.  My ideas come in spurts and I just read a book called “Touch of Frost” that had some Norse mythology in it that stirred up my writing juices.  This chapter goes out to all those who stuck with my long enough to actually read this!  Thanks again and if you guys ever have any idea of where this story could go, PLEASE, message me!
