Loki’s POV
I stopped conversing suddenly as a sharp pain echoed through my head. I bent over with my head in my hands and the people around me questioning my sanity. That kind of pain could only mean one thing: something had happened to Adda.
As the pain lightened a bit I retreated to my office room and closed my eyes, reaching through our link to reach Adda’s mind. I felt no resistance as I entered, meaning she was asleep, whether that be natural or forced, I was beginning to think it was forced. I began to form a dreamscape to have our meeting in. I made the same setting as last time. Then I began to call her to me. I was beginning to get worried, it was taking much longer than last time. I breathed a sigh of relief when her image began to appear.
“Adda.”...
Adda’s POV
It seemed like forever before the dark world in my head began to lighten. I expected to see a sick room at shield but was instead pleasantly surprised to see my uncle.
“Loki,” I exclaimed happily, running to throw my arms around him. He chuckled at my childish actions, hugging me back before cupping my cheeks in his hand and looking at me seriously.
“What happened?” he asked me, “not five minutes ago I was doubled over, a pain shooting through my head.”
I sighed, knowing this was going to be kind of hard to explain.
“I was training, mentally, I guess, with my lightning affinity, trying to learn how to control it. But somethings wrong. Every time I get it to manifest, it’s energy seems to overtake me, and I loose control and black-out.” Loki gazed at me, seeming to analyze me. With anyone else but dad and him, it would feel uncomfortable, but theirs just made me feel safe.
“I think I may be able to solve that.” my uncle told me.
“How?” I asked him excitedly.
“You’re father explained to you how he harnesses his power through Mjolnir, correct?”
I nodded my head quickly.
“I believe I can sneak into Asgard and grab something that can help you.” He finished.
I started to shake my head. “No,” I stated, “You go back to Asgard you run a greater risk of getting caught.”
My uncle simply smirked, “They don’t call me the god of mischief for nothing.”
