"Hey Grace, did you hear that Josh broke up with his girlfriend?" I looked at Mark with my mouth slightly opened. I blinked wondering what to say.

"When?" I asked, clearing my throat to try to cover up the fact that I was surprised. Just this last football game was when Josh tried to make a move on me.

"Yesterday." He replied, staying in a hushed tone. I nodded and leaned back on the bus seat. Mark doesn't know that Josh and I almost had a moment the week before.

The football game just ended and we were back in our bus, waiting for the bus to leave the football stadium. I sat near the back with Mark, leaving Josh in the middle to sit with Niko. I thought about what Anthony asked Josh on Monday, which happened right after I told him about the 'moment'.

"Did you try to kiss Grace?" Anthony asked Josh in the no longer crowded hallway. I hid my face of horror behind my hair. He wasn't supposed to ask like that! I half stared and half glared at Anthony.

"What? I wanted to know!" Anthony replied to my glare.

I looked at Josh, "I have no idea where he got that..." I said, obviously lying.

Josh facepalmed at us. "No...I have a girlfriend guys."

I woke up from my dream, it was just like when it actually happened, and it scared me. I looked out of the window and saw that it was still dark outside, with no signs of light. I sat up off the window, and felt a hand push me back down.

"What the he-" I stopped my sentence. Mark had a finger held up to his mouth to tell me to quiet down. I repeated my unfinished sentence in a more quiet tone.

Once I had quieted down enough, he whispered, "Justin...". I stared at him until I noticed that his eyes weren't looking at me, but a few seats behind him. Then I finally understood what was happening. I heard voices, loud ones to be exact. One of which was Justin's.

I didn't catch the rest of his sentence, but I heard a few words.

"...her personality. That's my favorite thing about her." I cringed and shoved my face in my hands.

"Is he..." I didn't finish my sentence. He already understood what I was going to say and nodded. In the back, Justin kept going. I noticed the other voice as Cheyenne's.

"What about...Jessica?" She said, loud enough for the whole bus to hear. Justin matched her volume.

"What I love about her is that she can make me happy... All the time." I cringed once again.

Woah. Woah. Woah... My Jessica, as the one in my section? Where is she? I thought, even cringing in my mind.

"So..." Cheyenne paused. "Which one do you like the most?" I covered my ears, not wanting to hear his response. But my attempt failed as I still heard his voice.

"Grace...I think I have a better chance with her." Yeah...sorry...but no. Ew.

Mark must've noticed my reaction and patted my head. Which is the only way he knows how to comfort underclassmen. I smiled at his weird attempt.

I rested my head back on the window, attempting to fall asleep. But what really happened was that I just laid there, with my eyes open and lost in my thoughts. I stayed like that until we were back at school.

You know, in my school, nothing good really happens with the saxophone section.

I got off the school bus and waited with Mark for Cheyenne. Once I saw her walking down the bus and back to the pavement, she had a grin on her face. I walked with Mark and Cheyenne on the way back to the band room, which would be a few minute walk.
