Angel was trained and did not need a partner.  She would rather work alone.  Her instinct was rather good.  She could tell about a situation and act with precision and she had plenty of arrests to prove it.  But for some reason she felt something was not right.

She felt pain and yet she was not hurt.  Another thing that got to her was it was so still.  Like everything was dead.  No one moving about and no cars on the road.  This time of year usually was very busy.  It was not time for this place to shut down or slow down.  She had plenty of questions and no answers.

It did not seem real to her.  No people walking, or driving.  No one in the stores.  Even the lots to park in had no one around.  There was no sound at all.  Just silence.  But Angel had her gun so she would not worry to much.  She would get to the bottom of this.  Her friend was creeping out. Because she had never seen this place like this before either.

All at once Angel got a surprise because Damon was standing on his porch watching her as she started to her car.  He smiled and she smiled then they both were running and he grabbed her and hugged her tight,  Then gave her a big kiss.  Angel thought he is so handsome and she loves his black hair with a few curls.  His eyes that could see right through you.  As they greeted each other Angel felt warm all over.  This was such a joy to her.

She took in the view of his body and liked what she saw.  He looks better each time I see him she thought.  Her body ached from wanting him.  She wanted a night alone with him once again.  The things they could do.  He had on a pair of black jeans that was tight and a red shirt and she could not quit staring.  There were so many things she wanted to do to him.
