Chapter 31

My friend told me that he was going to the media about the zombies.  This was going to change everything for everyone.  Robert was in the bedroom playing and Damon was in the kitchen.  Damon told me we could stay longer if we needed.  But I did not know if it would be safe.  Because once the Omega finds out they are going to be angry.  With it going on the media it was no telling what they would do.  

They might just blow the whole building up.  Plus her friend had enough to put everyone working there in Prison for a long time.  I knew then I had to protect Damon and Robert more than ever.  Damon and I had to find Robert's parents as fast as possible.  Even though we have tried so many things to find them already.  We would have to try even harder now.  

Damon is so tired and now I am getting tired also.  There was so much tension in the air.  They did not even know if they would get out alive.  Then Damon made up his mind that we should take the car and find Robert's parents.  So we gathered the supplies and checked all the rooms.  Then checked in the basement.  I then kissed Damon and he met my eyes.  Then he said we will get out alive.  I smiled and said with you I do not doubt it. I found a shotgun to go along with my gun.  Now I would not worry as much.

Damon went and got the car ready and then Robert and I raced to it.  We then went again to Robert's house to see if his parents were there.  Damon wanted to believe so much that his parents would still be alive and well.  Angel said she was going to check the car out.  But Damon did not want me to be alone so all of us went in.  

Robert was running and calling to his parents.  Damon is worried that something might happen to Robert and so am I.  The lights were out and they only had one light.  I had my gun in my hand and ready to fire if I had to.  The house was so dark.  Nothing was out of place and it was clean.  Then Damon heard a noise and he shadowed Angel.  They went to the last bedroom and found the noise had been Robert crying.  His mother's head was in his lap.  She also was crying and holding him.  His father had a hand on her back and a hand on Robert's head.  They looked fine but I had my gun on them just in case. 

But the husband told me to lower the gun.  Robert and his mother looked up and when Robert saw Damon and I.  He told his father that Damon and I had saved his life.  I told Robert that he needed to stand with Damon.  So I could make sure his mother and father was not infected.  Then I told him as soon as I find out,  you can go back to them.  

The mother started to cry and Damon told her it will be alright.  We just want to be sure Robert does not get hurt.  So both parents said yes.  Then they made the deal to all stay together.  Then Robert came and stood beside Damon and I.  Then they all went to the living room to talk.
