Damon And Angel Book 2 Completed

Chapter 15

As Angel stepped through the door she dropped the keys and bent to get them.  Damon teased her and said what a beautiful sight.  They had to figure out what to look for.  Damon said well let's look through all the drawers first and then the files.  So he took the drawers and she took the files.  

The project never made it.  It was stopped before anyone could finish it.  But he knew everything should be in the files or drawers.  Damon is suspicions and wants to confirm what he feels.  Angel found the files and went through them.  She went through them and was scanning all pages to find information.  There was applications and a letter rejecting the project.  Then came a strange piece of paper.  That Angel asked Damon about.  It seems there was an appeal.  But it was not approved.

Then for some reason the decision was appealed and rejected.  It seemed like someone was really trying to get this through.  The name was Mr.  Thomas Jones.  Now Damon did not know of anything about the man.  They were not friends and never talked to each other.  All Damon knew was the name and that he had worked at the company for a long time.  He had at one time had problems at home.  The man wanted to be on one project but the company would not let him.  

Maybe by now he is a zombie.  No one knows for sure.  Damon did not like Angel thinking and calling them zombies.  To him that was cold.  He knew maybe he was wrong but they used to be friends until this mess happened.  Plus the thought of Angel just shooting them got to him.  He hurt her when he said you are killing them and you don't seem to care.  But Angel said I am not just a killer.  I am doing what I have to do.  So live with it.  They are infected and unless I kill them you and I will be also.  Plus the rest of the people in this town.
