I heard the phone ring and it took me awhile to realize it was the phone. I jumped out of bed and went to answer it. It was my friend and I really was upset that she called so early in the morning. But I realized she did not seem the same. Her voice was different. She had been listening at her boss all night trying to get information. I asked her if she was nuts.
By now Damon was up and wanted to know what was going on. He looked so cute with his hair all over the place. She told me she had found some spy stuff and she had bugged her boss's office. Then she told me that he was the one that was calling the shots about the Coboconk Leak. I was shocked and so was Damon.
She told me she would be fired so she planted a bug on her boss also. I wondered how she did it? Then I asked her what did you find? At this point I was putting on my panties and Damon was staring.
Well they were being watched so they could not set a bomb off. But they have sent out armed mercenaries, that are disguised. Then she told me they was looking for me. That I had to be careful. I knew she was worried about me. I knew I had to get to the check point. I told her I was leaving and not to worry.
Mary and Edward was still sleeping so I wrote them a note telling them I had to leave. I told them it would be over soon. I told them to be careful, and to watch out for Robert. I told them to tell him to get to school.
We were putting on our shoes and we heard footsteps behind us. It was Robert looking at them and he said are you leaving without a goodbye. I told him no that we had left a note. He asked where we were going? Then said please stay here.
