Knocked Out

I did not know how long I was out but I woke up in the hospital..I don't think it was to long or I hope not.  There was blood in my eyes but I knew Damon was there and I whispered his name.  As my head was pounding I had to be slow.  But nothing came better then seeing Damon.  

But he did not answer me he was knocked out also.  So I am not in the hospital we are still in the car and Damon is hurt.  I knew I had to get him out.  He was against the airbag.  But when I tried to move my arm I could barely do it.  But I started pushing and got a little more room.  I shook Damon and kept calling his name.  "Damon ! please wake up, "Damon".  He finally moaned and it was such a sweet sound I cried.  I got my seat belt off finally and pushed the door open.  I stumbled out of the car and grabbed for my gun.

I went to the back of the car and went to Damon's door to get him out.  The car was wrapped around a tree.  Two tires were blown out!  One side was shattered with glass.  I was so full of shock and I could barely move.  A shot had been fired through the glass.  They also shot out the tires. 

When I got to Damon's door it would not budge.  As I pounded on the window calling Damon to try to wake him.  I heard nothing.  He finally heard me and he unlocked the door.  He had a bad bump on his head.  

I got his seat belt off and asked him if he was okay?  He told me he thought he was fine but then he saw I was bleeding.  But I knew I would live then I had Damon.  He got out of the car slow and then I asked him where is your gun?  Then he took it out and showed it to me.  He wanted to know if I was going to use the guns.  I told him probably.  I knew we had to hurry and leave they would come looking for us again.

I knew the hired hands were from Omega's.  I wish I knew how many there were.  I got the key to the trunk and got what we needed.  Then I said now we have to run.  Then I heard someone say "why the rush"?  I looked around and there stood one of the workers that had been hired to kill us.  His rifle was on us!

  I put my gun right between his eyes and he smiled and I pulled the trigger and wiped that smile away!  I ran to Damon and hugged him and kissed him and we both just cried.  It was finally over for at least a little while.  I wanted to get him to the hospital but we had to get to the checkpoint.  We got to the checkpoint and they looked us over and we finally went home.  Both of us was very happy.
