Damon And Angel Book 2 Completed

Parents Wary

We all moved into the living room and sat down to talk.  Robert's parents still did not trust Angel and she could not blame them she had a gun on them.  But she would explain and maybe someday they would understand.  After all her and Damon had saved his life.  They could have left him and anything could have happened to him.  Then his father thanked Angel and Damon.  They asked where they had found Robert.  Then Angel asked them what is your names?  

The woman said I am Mary and my husband is Edward.  Then I said I am Angel and this is Damon.  We found Robert in a room in the back of a store.  Robert did not like it when they told his parents where they found him.  His eyes were big but I told him to relax that he was not in trouble.  

His mom turned and said to Angel and Damon we know not to be around people and to not drink the water.  That is all we have found out so far.  Then she asked Damon if there was a chance they might be infected.  He told them he did not think so but they should know in a couple of hours.  Maybe a little longer.  They said they had been looking and that worried me and Damon.  Then I told them it was good that they did not see anyone.  Then I asked his mom if anyone had tried to bite them and she looked at me like I was crazy.

They thought it was rabies.  Damon and I looked at each other and we did not know if we should tell them the truth.  It might be better to just let them believe it was rabies.  But Robert said before we knew he was going to say anything.  It is not rabies.  He told his parents it is zombies.  His father said why are you saying such a thing.  You know there are not zombies.  Angel looked at Robert and shook her head.

Robert was upset but it could not be helped.  She had to find out first if they were infected.  Then his mother said well let's all eat.  But I told them there was no power.  His father said not to worry that they had a generator.  

Damon asked him how loud it was?  His father said just like all generator's.  Damon said well we better not use it.  It could get dangerous .  We do not even know if they have surrounded the house or not.  They could be watching us.  

His mother said there are no zombies but I told her I have seen things like that.  She must have thought I lost my mind.  They do not act like humans and there is no cure.  They will bite you and eat you.  We need to get the house boarded up and stay quiet.  His father got up and went and got some wood.  He also had hammers and nails.  They had the house done in two hours time.
