When Margret returned, I accepted the clothes, but I quickly said before she had the chance to disappear, "Why don't you stay down here and talk for little bit... if you'd don't mind?"

She scanned me over and smiled, "Sure, I'm not that tired actually, so..." She sat on the coach a crossed from me. She laid her legs across the cushions, and I did that also. "What do you want to talk about, Kris?"

"Let me get to know you more. Anything, just tell me about who Margret is."

She looked at me and laughed. "Oh okay, so... I'm the youngest of six. I have five older brothers. Mike and Matt are twins. They are closest to my age, but they were still five years older than me. Mike was the cook of the family after my mom's death, that is until he started the oven on fire. I guess after that event, he feel in love with fire, well because now he's a fireman in New York City. He has a wife and a baby on the way. Matt is an officer in town here. He comes around at least once a week, but he and my dad got into a fight couple years back. Things are still rocky, but life isn't smooth sailing. Then it was Bradley, an accountant in Des Moines. Whenever Jeff visits him, he always go to baseball games there. Hunter is a farmer in Southern Wisconsin. Then finally it was, Adam. Right after he graduated from high school, he served overseas. He was a taken prisoner by one of the terrorist groups over there and died. Adam had left a girlfriend and a one year old daughter. We all could tell that she didn't love him. She wept like she wept for a friend, but she didn't wept for love. They was trying to make everything work for their daughter, but things didn't turn out. I have no idea where they are now, but I know that they are using his benefits that they collected."

She paused for a second. I saw tears in her beautiful eyes. She whipped them out before she continued. "I was about sixteen when I got knocked up with Jeff. I was stupid with my then idiot boyfriend. We were at a party, and I got drunk. It was my first time with alcohol. I regretted that ever since I woke up the next morning. My dad was great and supported me and Jefferson. I don't think that I would have survived the rest of high school without him. He always babysat whenever I had school, or would work for me, at our family store in town, whenever I would have to bring him to ball practice or game. Dad even brought him sometimes. When I was nineteen or twenty, I can't even remember, I was in Detroit with Jeff going to a Tiger's game. I met this guy and got taken advantaged. But, it is what it is. I got Josalynn because of it."

Once again, she paused. She looked at me like it was my turn to give my life story. "Well, I have one brother. He's a year older than me. Patrick, he played baseball with me in high school. A lot of people said that he was better than me, but he didn't want a life in baseball. He is a gym teacher in Vegas. I really have nothing else except that. I actually had a pretty boring, yet exciting life."

"Why do I have a feeling that, that isn't exactly the whole truth? How is your team?"

"Um... my team is basically my brothers. Really the whole league is a huge family. The longer you're in the show, you get to know and befriend most of the guys in the league. I feel like I have hundreds of players and past players in my phone. Most people thinks that my life would be so exciting, but truthfully it's just constantly baseball and hanging out with my team."

She longingly looked at me. "That seems nice."

"It is, except when you have twenty games in a row without a day off and your traveling every third to fourth day. That's when you just want to be done. Don't get me wrong, I love it."

"So is this your break from the whole world of baseball?" she asked, laying her head on the couch's backrest.

I smiled at her, "Yeah, I guess. It was definitely an unexpected one. I did have an off day yesterday, but I am glad for this off day, because I got to meet you."

"Wow, you're a smooth one, aren't you?" Margret laughed when she said that. Her laughter is so contagious, that I even started to laugh as well. "So, how do you think of Jeff's baseball skills?"

"He's amazing. I believe, as long as he continues to work, he'll be able to achieve anything that he dreams."

"Good, I do hope that he gets to accomplish anything that he wants to. My dream is that he has dreams that he wants to achieve. I understand that it's his goals, not mine. I don't believe in pushing him to work at a sport. He needs the determination. I'll help him in anything that he needs."

"I don't know it from experience, but I think that is a very smart plan."

Conversation seemed to die. After couple of seconds, I looked at Margret, who was sleeping. I got off the couch, as quietly as I possibly could. I found a blanket that was on Ed's chair, and I laid it on her peacefully figure. Then I went into the bathroom and changed into the new clothes, before I went back out into the living room, grabbed a pillow, turned off the light, and fell asleep, smiling, on the floor.

Hey guys! Can you guys do me a favor and let me know what you think of this story. I know, at least for me, it's hard sometimes to find something to write about other's work, but I need to know. Also, look forward to me posting every day until Monday next week. I do believe that you guys deserve that, and also I love writing this story. Also if you are bored, I recommend reading one of my other stories called The Story of Them. Sorry for the self-promo.
