I held Josalynn as we walked into the visitor’s clubhouse. The guys was all in there chilling until we actually had to do something.

Anthony and Grandpa Rossy was the first person to come up to us. Jeff smiled at them, but Josalynn wanted Grandpa to hold her. He gladly took her from me and walked away to the other guys.

“So, this is the beautiful lady that save our little Krissy,” Anthony said hugging Margret. “I’m Anthony, by the way.”

Once he finally let her go, Margret said, “Well, technically, my dad was the one that save your little Krissy. I’m Margret, and this is my son Jefferson.”

He bent down to the level of Jeff. “I hear that you are a better baseball player than your little friend.”

Jeff nodded, “He’s pretty awesome, but I’m good.”

“Why don’t you come with me and we can show off your skills?” Margret pushed Jeff forward. They left, leaving me and Margret all alone.

“Well, finally we are alone,” I said before I kissed her cheek.

She wrapped her arms around me. “I don’t want to be like this, when all of them are watching us.”

I laughed, “What, is it freaking you out?”

‘Yes,” she said through her teeth. I grabbed her hand and led her out to the vacant dugout. I sat next to her on the bench.

“I’m glad that you are here.”

“Me too,” she said with a hug smile. “I had missed you. Can’t stop thinking about you.”

“You are always on my mind.” I kissed her lips. It was only meant to be a little kiss, but it turned out to be a full make out session. By the time that some idiots interrupted us, Margret was laying under of me.

It was Addi who found us. “Get a room, Bryant! You better come and get ready to kick some Sox butts.”

He left before I could say anything to him. I kissed her lips again before I got up. “I better get going. Come down here if you have any trouble or need anything.”

“Got it,” she said before we walked into the clubhouse together to find her kids.

Unfortunately we lost the first two games of the series, but I hope we do better we are home at Wrigley. Margret threw out the first pitch to me. She was a star among the Cubs fans because of all that she did, but more importantly, she’s a star to me.

We won the game, and all four of us piled into my car to make our way to my place. I could get so used to this.

That night, Margret and I laid in my bed together watching a movie. “Today was pretty incredible.”

“It sure was. I could get used to having you here with Jeff and Josalynn.” I pecked her cheek.

Her face started to turn red. “I could too, but you know that I am needed on the farm and the store.”

“I know, but I’d like to have you out here whenever you can make I. I like you Margret so much that it hurts.”

“Me too, and I want to be with you so much. Maybe Jeff could stay with you for awhile or Josalynn, but as for me, I don’t think that will be possible that much.”

I did feel hurt by that. I wanted her to be here with me more than anything else in the world. “Would be alright with you if I stay with you guys during the off season a little bit?”

She smiled at that. “I don’t think anyone would adject to that. I’d be happy.”

“Good,” I said kissing her cheek.
