Once I stepped out of Maddon's office, I had a mob of guys around me. They picked me up and brought me out onto the field. I don't see what the point was of this because it was still down pouring.
The guys didn't stay out there for that long after they dropped me on the pitching mound. They quickly disappeared back into our dugout. I stood there confused in the rain for couple of seconds before I saw him, Anthony Rizzo, existing the dugout.
"KRISTOPHER LEE BRYANT!" Oh no, here it comes. I sprinted out to the outfield. "COME BACK HERE BRYANT!" I knew that he was chasing after me, but I was hell a lot faster than he was.
I stopped when I was at the ivy in left field. I turned around seeing that Rizz didn't even come off of the infield dirt. "BRYANT, IF YOU DON'T COME OVER HERE RIGHT NOW, WE'LL LOCK YOU OUT HERE!"
I couldn't help but laugh at that before I said, "I'M SURE THAT THE BREWERS WOULD LOVE TO ADD ME TO THEIR ROSTER!"
"DOUBTFUL!" Anthony yelled before he turned around and started walking back to the dugout. I saw my opportunity, so I ran as fast as I could to catch up to Rizzo before I jumped onto his back.
From the impact, Rizzo fell to the ground. We both laid there on the ground laughing. Both of us laid next to each other. We rolled onto our back.
"Welcome back home, Kris, we missed you here."
"Thanks Rizz, for everything," after I said that, I stood up quickly and ran back into the dugout. Ant was right behind me.
After we got changed into dry clothes, I went into the batting cage to get some work down, waiting for the official ruling. Dex, Addy, and Gramps was down there, also.
"It's so great to see you! I thought that Rizz was going to die without you!" Addy said happily as I swung at a ball. I missed the ball terribly, looking over at him.
"We all missed you, but Rizz just couldn't shake it from his mind. I thought he was going to go crazy not knowing if your alright," Gramps said.
"So did you meet someone out there?" Addy asked.
I eyed the ball that was speeding towards me, ignoring the guys by me. I smoked the air around the ball. Once again, I missed the ball once again.
"Ooo, he definitely did," Dex shouted. All of those guys burst out in laughter and I turned red. Oh, what had Margret done to my heart.
Okay, I'm sorry for being gone for a while. Truthfully, I have no excuse. I'm sorry. I will try to update soon. I know that this is short, but more is to come.
