"Bye Kris, bye Josalynn!" Margret cried as she and Jeff left the house, leaving me and Josalynn. I had no idea what to do.

"What do you want to do?" I asked her sitting on the couch together.

She looked at me and smiled. "Little Mermaid!"

I couldn't help but to laugh at that. "Do you really want to watch that?"

"YES KERIS! LITTLE MERMAID!" she yelled making me laugh. I pulled it up on my laptop, and she watched it. She danced around the room singing along to every song that played. I couldn't help but to laugh and smile as she did this.

'Look at this stuff, isn't it neat?'

'Wouldn't you think my collection's complete?'

'Wouldn't you think I'm the girl,'

'The girl who has everything?'

As Josalynn sang, I decide to take a video of it with my phone. She was so adorable and precious that she could melt anyone's heart. I have to remember to show Margret it when she gets back. She'll love it.

Once the movie was over, Josalynn wanted me to start it from the beginning, but I told her not tonight. Instead we went out to the kitchen to make some supper, and we ate it. By that time it was getting late, so I helped her change before I put her to bed in one of my guest rooms.

I was about to leave, when I heard her say, "Bedtime story!"

"What?"

"Bedtime STORY!"

I sat down on the bed next to her. "What story?"

"STORY!"

"Alright, alright," I said thinking. "Um..."

"That doesn't sound like a story!"

"Alright. Once upon a time, there was a baseball player who... decided to go on a road trip to visit his girlfriend. But it turned out his girlfriend wasn't in love with him, even though he thought he was in love with her. This baseball player caught his girlfriend cheating on him with another guy."

"What was they doing?"

My eye got wide right away. I had no idea how to answer that one. "Um... they was snuggling on the couch together watching a movie. But anyway, the baseball player stormed away. He started back home, but got lost really quickly. He didn't care, so he continued to drive until he ran out of gas. He was stuck in a rain storm, and he had no way to contact anyone to help him."

"Just like you, Keris?" Josalynn asked as she snuggled up against me.

"Yeah, just like me, Josalynn. Anyway, he slept out there in his car that night, not knowing what he was going to do. He thought he was going to die because he didn't think that anyone lived around there, but he was wrong. The next morning, a man came and rescued him from his car. The man was a very kind and selfless. He brought the player home to his family. And the baseball player met the most wonderful woman in his life. Instantly, he knew that he'll love her until the day he died. She turned out to be just like her father. She was kind and selfless, even though she told me that the baseball player was the worse cook she had ever met. So that day, the player stayed there and hung out with the family. Each other fell in love with the other. Then the baseball player had to leave because he had a game, and he was very sad. He felt like he'd give up baseball in a heartbeat if he could stay with that family forever." I looked at the little girl, and she was asleep, but I continued on. "But the player and the woman found their way back to each other, and the player swears that one day he will make that woman his wife and the happiest woman on the Earth. He promised himself that he'll never hurt her or her family, because he loved her very greatly."

I kissed her forehead, before I sneaked my way out of under her and out of the room. I went out into the living room, and barely watched the T.V. waiting for Margret to get back from the game.

I guess I fell asleep waiting, but I woke up right when she got in with a very tired Jeff following. Jeff didn't say anything to me or his mother, but he went right to his room, to probably fall asleep.

Margret sat next to me. "How was the game?"

"Tigers lost, but it was a good game. Jeff was so happy that he met all of them. I thought he'd die of excitement, and also, he left me standing in the corner. I got a lot of pictures of him with the guys. So how was Josalynn and your night?"

I smiled, "Actually, it went pretty good. We watched the Little Mermaid, and I had to tell her a bedtime story. We mainly just sat around and played with her dolls and sang Little Mermaid songs. It was a fun time."

"I bet. So, are you ready to go to bed?" she asked.

I winked at her, "Only if you join me."

"Fine, but all we are doing is sleeping right?"

"Correct," I said, getting up and lead the way to my bedroom so both of us could sleep.
