The next morning I woke up to Josalynn jumping on my bed. She was full of smiles and giggles. Margret was already out of the bed and was gone somewhere. I caught Josalynn and started tickling her. Her laughter and screeches made me laugh as well.

She managed to get out of my hold and run out of the room. Shaking my head, I got out of my bed and threw some clothes on before I made my way out to the kitchen where Margret was making some pancakes.

"Morning Sleeping Beauty," Margret said with a small laugh.

I went over to her and pecked her cheek. "When did you get up?"

"An hour ago, I had to get Anna up and ready for the day. Jefferson is supposed to be getting up, but for some reason he didn't want to wake up until he has to leave. He's a typical boy."

"Hey, just to let you know, not all guys are like that," I said acting defensive.

She went back to the stove to check the food. "But majority of the guys are like that." She grabbed a plate and placed four medium sized pancakes on that. She shoved that plate into my hands.

I sat down next to Anna, and I gave her one of the pancakes and helped her put the butter and syrup on it. "So are you guys ready for tonight?" I asked. They don't know what I have planned for them. I hope they like everything that they are going to get these next four games.

"I'm not ready, but I don't think that I'm ever going to be ready until I get pushed towards it."

"Now that is exactly how I felt when I came up to the majors, but I did have a little excitement."

She rolled her eyes at that one. "Don't worry, my kids already have that covered. But JEFFERSON MIGHT NOT COME IF HE DOESN'T GET OUT HERE FOR BREAKFAST!"

"I'll go and get him." I got up, my plate was already clean, and I went back to the spare bedroom that Jeff had for this week.

Jeff was laying on his bed watching youtube on my tablet. "What you watching?" I asked sitting down next to him. He showed me the screen. It was a highlight reel of the best Cubs defensive plays. "Are you figuring out your fielding report on my team?"

He rolled his eyes at me. "Yeah, and you aren't the greatest out there."

"I know, but I don't have to. My team has my back. So, who do you like?"

"Um... probably Baez. He's pretty amazing with those magic plays of his."

"You could ask him to teach you some of them. I bet he'd love to do that."

Jeff's face went big with excitement right away. "Really, you think he would?"

"He's my teammate, and we are friends so he might. But you'd have to ask him."

"I want to learn that from Baez, Contreras's catching, Rizzo's beastness..."

I tried not to laugh at that, but I couldn't help myself. "Beastness? Why do you say that?"

"The tarp catch and all of his defensive amazingness and raking on top of that. He is a beast, and I want to learn that from him!"

I continued to laugh at him. Rizzo is going to love this boy. "What about me, do you want to learn anything from me?"

"All you do is hit homer's, but Rizzo is a better all around hitter." That definitely took a huge blow to my ego. "But you can teach me something..."

I looked at him being shocked. "What?"

"How to make a women like me." Jeff looked scared when he said that.

I definitely wasn't expecting him to say that. "Um... buddy, I guess I will teach you that once you get older. Now, come on, we got to eat some breakfast."

"Carry me!" I didn't even think when I picked him up and brought out where Margret and Josalynn was.

Hey... I'm sorry for not updating for a while. I am a huge idiot deciding to write six stories at one time and trying to take extremely tough classes. I have been trying, and I am completely sorry. I hope you guys have been enjoying this story.
