Jonathan's POV

Most people would lose their minds if their internet went out. I am one of those people; Not because I can't check Facebook, post my dinner on Instagram or brag about my perfect life on Twitter. My entire job required Internet. No videos means subscribers will be lost, and so will my job. I needed this job, it was my dream to play video games for a living and I finally achieved it. I couldn't lose it now just because my internet would be out for a few days.

I decide to head downtown later to where the Internet cafe is. I have only visited there once or twice, but the staff was friendly and the food was good. So, I decided to go there to edit my game play from last night, upload my latest video and get something to drink. A taro latte sounded amazing right now.

I opened my laptop to see the battery was fully charged. I closed it, put it in my bag for when I start walking to the café.

Something caught my attention from the corner of my eye, a small note was attached to my window. I opened it and grabbed the note that was taped to the outside.

The neat hand writing flowed with words from a girl who I had yet to know, a girl who I've spent the night lost in the woods with, a girl who interested me but still annoyed me.

I look at their driveway and see that girl, along with her grandparents, and Jayden.

Although, Jayden and I used to be friends, he was an asshole. He used me, he was not to be trusted. I guess Macy will have to figure that out for herself.

Macy's eyes met mine. I crumpled up the paper and threw it behind me. Then I saw her raise her middle finger at me and I scowled. She's so childish sometimes...

As they drove away, I grabbed my bag which contained my laptop, USB drives, charger, marbles and a compass. Locking the door behind me, I set off towards the cabin.

Leaving a trail for me to follow home, I watched my compass needle spin. It finally landed on a big "N". I walked forward, laying small glass balls containing different colours and patterns every few feet.

Finally spotting the cabin, I leave a pile of marbles and jog towards the large structure made from trees which stood tall many years ago.

I unlock the door and rush inside. Setting my bag on the couch I walk to the bedroom. I reached under the bed and pulled out a small wooden box. The box had a natural wooden colour but had metal on each corner and on the middle where a padlock latched the top of the box to the bottom, restricting anyone from opening it.

Placing the box on the bed, I sit beside it then grab a small key from my pocket and placed it in the padlock. Twisting to key I heard a small click, indicating that the padlock was unlocked. I removed it and placed it beside me.

I opened the box and stared at its contents. I picked it up and placed it on the bed beside me. After locking the box, I placed it back underneath the bed.

Opening my bag, I carefully placed the object within. I walked out of the cabin and locked the door.

Following the marble trail, I soon arrive out of the lush forest and make my way to the café.

Finally arriving I sat down at a table near the back of the café, away from everyone else. It was still early so there wasn't that many people, which made me feel better.

I waited a bit before someone arrived at the table to take my order.

"Good morning. I'm Macy. I'll be your waitress for today. What would you like to order?"

I was about to order, until I realized what she had said. I looked up from my screen to see Macy in one of the waitress outfits. Her hair was up into a tight bun and the uniform really showed off the slight curves she had. She looked beautiful, although my head seemed to shout at me that thinking she looked nice was a very bad thing.
