Jonathan's POV
It's been a week since Macy moved in. Her grandparents weren't so happy that she moved in with the "weird person in the neighbourhood." Although, they didn't have much of a choice.
The week went by fast. Macy helped me clean her new room, which was fairly easy and only took a few hours. The room was filled was dust and a few spiders lurked in the corner. Thankfully there weren't many spiders and they died from a quick hit from a broom.
She decorated it to her liking with what we had. We also decided to go shopping for some new furniture and some decorations sometime this week.
My life has changed so much in the part few months, I met an amazing girl, I got my dog back and I lost my mother. It's been hard to adjust but I feel as though this will be the start to something great.
"Jonathan!" Macy called from downstairs.
I raced down the steps to find Macy in the kitchen, she was covered from head to toe in flour with a large bowl in her hand. Baby was standing beside her wagging her tail, she was also covered in the white powder.
I immediately burst out laughing.
"Stop laughing and help me," Macy pleaded. She was beginning to become infuriated by my outburst of laughter instead of giving her the help that she required.
I take a few deep breaths and tried to stop my laughing. I eventually succeeded.
"What happened?" I asked Macy as I grabbed a damp cloth from the sink.
"I was trying to make you home made cinnamon buns as a thank you gift, but Baby got in to the flour when I was making the dough."
"I should have told you she has a thing for flour, sorry," I apologized as I began to clean up the powder from the counter.
Macy sighed before putting the bowl down and jogging upstairs to change her clothes and have a quick shower.
As she did so, I brought Baby to the back yard and to give her a quick rinse off with the garden hose. Which was one of baby's least favourite things.
She jumped away from the water every time I tried to bathe her, which made my already difficult task in to a battle.
I eventually got her to sit still as I cleaned her off.
Once I returned inside, I ran upstairs to grab a towel to dry off my wet dog who remained outside.
I grabbed a dirty one from my laundry basket since Macy was still in the shower.
As I left my room, the door to the bathroom flung open and Macy stood in the door way.
Her brown hair was in small, damp curls and her slim body was barely covered with a fluffy white towel.
Her face went tomato red when she saw me. She was extremely embarrassed, and so was i.
"Shit." Was the only word out of her mouth before she ran past me and in to her room.
I leaned against the wall and thought back to what just happened.
Even when she's embarrassed she the most beautiful girl I've ever seen. How can someone look that beautiful and be so perfect?
I snap out of my thoughts when I heard baby barking from outside. I ran down the stairs in fear my poor baby was in danger. Once I reached the back yard, I saw a man standing beside her.
Baby's hair was standing on edge and she was growling fiercely at him. I have never seen her so angry.
"Hello, Jonathan."
