Jonathan's P.O.V.

Callum and I sat beside each other on the couch in silent thought. I had wanted to help bake muffins with Macy but she had refused, forcing me to sit in the living room.

The lasting conversation with Callum mended a lot of old wounds. I was grateful for that. It had been years since I've seen him so it was expected that he wouldn't be an exact replica of himself from younger years, but Callum still held that joking, caring attitude I appreciated.

I had whispered to Macy earlier that I knew Callum's arrogance was only a facade to shield the shame and embarrassment. Macy shook her head and smiled, telling me I was such a drama queen. I couldn't care less about the fact that I was being a bit dramatic, but the smile on her face brightened up my day a bit more.

Recently, I've noticed I've been a bit more physical with Macy. I hadn't even realized until she mentioned it, but I could tell that she wasn't bothered it at all.

"I know we haven't got much done, but I'm going to call it a day. A lot happened today Jonathan and I just want to say, I'm happy I have my little brother back," Callum said through the silence, getting up from the couch. I stood up with him, hugging him before he left.

"It's great to have you back in my life again."

With that, Callum offered me one last smile, stole a hot muffin from the tray Macy just took out of the oven, and waved Macy goodbye.

"He's going to burn his tongue if he eats that," Macy said, shaking her head. "I feel like you took care of him more than he did with you."

"We were there for each other, I guess. Now, why don't you lay here with me and we can finish the rest of those muffins?" I asked with a smile, hoping she'd accept.

Macy rolled her eyes and set the tray of hot muffins down onto the coffee table after placing an oven mitt below it. I was already laying down on the couch when she sat on my legs.

I groaned and tried to kick her off. "Get your fat ass off of me."

"You take that back," she smiled, staring at me with an unusual look in her eyes.

"Why don't you make me?"

Regret washed over me as I felt Macy's frail hands find their way to my stomach. She turned to straddle me and tickled me until I couldn't breathe. In turn, I tried to raise my arms to tickle her back but she grabbed hold of my wrists and pinned them down as I lay panting, staring up into her rich, joyful eyes.

"You're going to regret that, kid," I threatened her, the hold she had on my wrists decreasing with every second. "I'll go easy on you if you apologize."

"As if."

My strength exceeded hers easily and her hold on my wrists was gone. I sat up, holding her waist so she'd stay straddling me. My comedic side had disappeared the moment I saw Macy inhale sharply and bite her lip, realizing the position she was in.

"Macy, babe. I'm-"

My breath hitched as one of her hands came into contact with my chest, the warmth of her tender hand separated from my skin by a thin shirt. I've had a fair share of physical partners in the past and then, I never had the need to refrain myself since all were one night stands.

The beautiful girl in front of me was not and I had never felt such an overwhelming urge in my entire life than of this moment.

"Macy, come on. Don't mess around like this. You know this won't end well," I pleaded, trying to convince myself that this course of action would result in some horrible consequence.

Macy's eyes then clouded with a darkened realization and she quickly stood up, her head shaking the slightest bit at her own actions. Her cheeks flamed with embarrassment and she quickly excused herself, locking herself in her room.

A part of me wanted to rush there with her, just to make sure she would be okay and to reassure her that this would change absolutely nothing. But I knew that if I were to, I probably would convince myself to stay the night in that room.

A smile played on my lips. I learned that Macy had a completely different story to her past and other characteristics I wouldn't have guessed. This was one of them. Never have I ever imagined Macy to initiate something so intimate purely out of desire. She was quite the handful.

My phone rang in my pocket and I answered it with a giddy 'hello'.

"What's with you?" Luke asked, his smile evident in his voice.

"Macy."

"What'd she do this time? Hug you? Bake you cookies? Massaged your ear lobe maybe?"

I laughed. "No. Callum left and we were messing around, but things got a bit, you know."

There was silence for a quick moment as Luke processed the new information. Then I was met with a squeal.

"We'll get back to the Callum thing later, but tell me what exactly happened."

So I explained the entire situation, giving a brief background to Callum's appearance. Luke was almost shouting through the phone once I was finished talking.

"What makes her different?"

"She lives here," I stated obviously, "and I don't want to ruin anything. I see a future with her, Luke. It might not be anything serious or romantic, but even as friends, I want her to stay and I'm not going to risk that by...well, you know."

"Oh, I do know. I also know that you're not the type of person to restrain your feelings so you better pray that Macy sticks to her good girl self."

"God, I'm screwed."

------------------------

Wow. I suck at writing things that have to do with physical contact because I have no experience with that, but I got it done(mostly).

Jonathan admitted something huge in this chapter and I hope you're all excited for what's to come.
