Edd's POV
As expected Kevin arrives at my house promptly at 7 p.m., as we previously discussed. My parents are out for the evening which provides the situation for Kevin and I to spend a night, uninterrupted.
Opening the door, I am greeted softly by a kiss to my forehead and a warm embrace.
"How's my dork feeling tonight?" Kevin muses, teasingly.
"Wonderful, especially now that I've got your company."
Slowly we walk close together to the family room, where the entertainment system is ready for our disposal. Soon thereafter we are snuggling on the sectional watching a movie, who's title escapes me.
"How's the movie Edd?" Kevin whispers, his warm breath tickling my ears.
"Haven't you been watching?"
"Unfortunately not, I've been to busy looking at you."
Almost instantly I feel a stir inside myself, I don't think I will ever adjust to Kevin's compliments and flirtatious aura. Hastily I brush my hands against his fiery hair, ruffling it a bit--he shivers in response.
"Sorry are my hands cold?"
"No. Your touch is like a drug to me." Kevin replies, leading my hand back to his head. I laugh lightly, somewhat pleased with myself.
Kevin's POV
Edd continues to play with my hair, which at this point is becoming a guilty pleasure. Despite dating one of the most fragile, feminine boys on the planet; a guy's gotta keep his bad-boy persona going to get respect. (And hair petting probably doesn't benefit it)
"Do you know what amazes me Dork?" Sounding more like a rhetorical statement than I question.
"What?"
"Everyday you are making the impossible possible"
"How so Kevin?" He asks, genuinely curious about my riddle.
"Each day I am with you, I grow to love you even more. I tell myself it is impossible to do so, but everyday you prove me wrong."
Once again Edd flushes, something that occurs more often than not.
"I love you." He says softly, making my heart soar.
"I love you more."
