I slowly opened my eyes, and panicked. Pain. My leg. I groaned as I felt a strong pain shoot down my leg. I looked down at my legs and noticed the pool of blood around my left leg and the bullet hole in my jeans.
My head was thudding, so was my heart. I could barely grasp what happened, where I was, and why I was here. I tried to recall what happened.
I was lying on the cold ground of a storage room. I sat up, glancing around. There was nothing on the shelves, except a broom. My handgun was gone.
The metal door was began pushed at by walkers, so I backed into the corner, pulling my body back. I was trapped. I was going to die. The walkers would come in soon, I stand and look at the ceiling. Vent. I could try. I began to climb the aisle, barely able to hold steady since my leg had been shot.
It was no use. I hit the floor, hot tears rolling down my face, and I sigh, frustrated. He had locked me in here. Getting shot was an easier death than having walker's teeth rip your skin. I cringed at the thought, hearing the walkers slamming themselves into the door.
My stomach had dropped, and I was scared all of a sudden. But happy, I would see my friends. I would see Olivia, Bella... my mother. But my sister is still out there.
"Can't give up.," I grumbled through grit teeth and grabbed the broom. I didn't know what I was going to do with. It worked as a great cane though. Barely.
I cried out and fall back down, sweat rolled down my forehead. I was going to die. I was afraid of knowing I was about to die.
I turned my head from the door and stared at the wall. It was a blue wall, the paint was chipping. I felt a cold rush of air over me.
I closed my eyes.
