Students' voices filled the Great Hall, everyone was telling each other their plans for the day. Some dared each other to run into the Shrieking Shack, others just wanted to get out of stuffy castle. But there were also some, who would rather stay and read or do their homework,but that was very few.

"So 'Mione are you going," Ginny asked Hermione, who had her nose in a book.

"Going where,"Hermione asked, but didn't care to much about the conversion she just wanted to finish her book.

"Come on Hermione you have to come to Hogsmeade,"Ginny begged.

"And be a third wheel...no thank you."

"You won't be a third wheel. Luna and Neville are coming with us to."

"So it will be a double date?"

"Yes, and it can be a triple date if I could just find Ron."

"Oh he..told me that he has a last minute errand to do."Hermione lied, "wow I'm getting a hang of lying." Hermione mentally said to herself.

"Oh, what is it with him and his last minute errands?"

Hermione wanted to laugh at what Ginny said,but she couldn't or else Ginny would be on to her. So she did her best to shut her mouth and continue the conversation.

"So where is Valentine,she can be your third wheel?"Hermione asked Ginny.

"Oh she told me that she has plans with ferret and his friends."

"Oh well..let's hope she doesn't get attacked by them."

"Yeah and I still can't believe that she and ferret are cousins, it's just..weird. I could only imagine how Valentine told her parents that she got into Gryffindor, probably her whole family are Slytherins."

"Not necessarily my father went to Ilvermorny and my mother went to Beauxbatons. My father was in the house Horned Serpent." Valentine said from behind them and sat down next to a very startled Ginny.

"Well Horned Serpent doesn't sound Slytherin-ish at all," Ginny said with sarcasm.

"Horned Serpents are like Ravenclaws, they are scholarly."Valentine said while grabbing a piece of toast.

"Scholarly you say," Ginny said thoughtfully.

Valentine nodded and began to eat her toast. Hermione went back to her book, leaving Ginny to her thoughts.

"I just thought of something,"Ginny said,which got the two other Gryffindor girls attention.

"What?!"Valentine and Hermione both said.

"Valentine, your mother's a Malfoy right,"Valentine slowly nodded at Ginny," what's her name?"

"Loranna Alice Malfoy,but now Gonzales.Why?"Valentine answered.

"Hermione can I speak with you for a second?" Ginny asked and Hermione nodded; then the two girls got up from where they were sitting and left the Great Hall leaving a confused Valentine to sit alone.

"I swear Ginny if you don't tell me what we are doing I will scream!"Hermione warned Ginny.

The two girls were in the library, looking for a book. Ginny knew exactly what to look for, running her fingers down each book and randomly opening books to the table of context, but Hermione, on the other hand was trying to get answers.

"Are you going to help me?" Ginny complained.

"If I knew what we are looking for I would be helping,"Hermione yelled,which earned her a few shh from students who were reading around her.
