"Please turn to page 6, I hope that you read pages 1 through 5 over the summer," Professor Slughorn said," We are going to make Baruffio's Brain Elixir or as we will be calling it: BB Elixir.
This potion will help the taker's brain power to work. Many of you need some. I will write the ingredients on the broad or you may look at your book, you will have half an hour to finish it and all the ingredients are in the back room behind me as you know. Who ever brews it perfectly will have the privilege to take it and win their house 50 points. You may start now."
Everyone ran to the back room, well everyone except Hermione. Hermione doesn't need 'BB Elixir'. She is smart and witty as is, so it is pointless to drink it. But she will brew it for 50 points. So once everyone was out of the back room she walked in.
She looked right then left, to make sure no one was in the small room. There wasn't, so she walk to shelfs looking for the ingredients. Her book was in one arm and the other was carrying the ingredients.
She just needs one more ingredient,but it was on the top shelf.
"You got to be kidding," Hermione said trying to get the jar on the top shelf," why am I so short!"
"Beats me Granger," a voice said from behind her.
"Shut your face," Hermione said to him, but didn't turn to face him.
"That isn't physically possible,"Malfoy said back to her.
Hermione smirked at his comeback, but did let him see it. She continued to try and get the jar, not caring if she is too short.
"Granger, if you need help just ask," Malfoy said walking to the shelf and leaning on it," I just need you to say please."
"I don't need your help," Hermione hissed, she turned her head to look at him. She had to raise her head to make eye contact with him."Wow he is tall...shut up."
"You know what I'll get it for you out of the kindness of my heart," Malfoy said to her while putting a hand on his heart.
"I didn't know you had a heart," Hermione said to him, still making eye contact.
He only rolled his eyes, then grabbed the jar on the top shelf without breaking a sweat.
"Here you go,"Malfoy said giving the jar to Hermione.
Hermione grabbed it and walk out of the room without thanking Malfoy.
"YOU'RE WELCOME!!!!!!!" Malfoy yelled to her, but she ignored him once again.
Hermione sat in her chair and started to brew the assigned potion. She could tell that Malfoy was staring at her, but she only ignored him.
Hermione raised her hand to tell Professor Slughorn that she was done with the potion. He walked over to her and was amazed at how perfectly she made her potion.
"Well done Miss Granger," Professor Slughorn congratulated and gave her the potion to keep," 50 points to Gryffindor. And there is no homework, but if you would like extra credit a one page parchment about BB Elixir will be due. With that being said you can leave."
Everyone gather their things then left for dinner.
