How could she do this to her? She feels betrayed, how could Hermione Granger make her feel like dirt? She is a pureblood and she is a filthy mud-no muggleborn.
Pansy splashed water on her face, she wiped the water with the back of her hand. She smiled a sad smile into the minor in front of her. Her eyes were red and puffy, eyeliner running her cheeks and her lips quivering.
"Chin up," she said to herself and swished her wand making face turn back to normal.
She took a deep breath, all she wants to do is scream and break her reflection, but she needs to control herself. She took another deep breath and smiled into the mirror again, but it was a depressing smile.
She grabbed her bag full of unfinished homework, then she walked out of the girl restroom.
As she walked down the halls to the great hall, people whispered about her,but she was used to it or at lest she think she is. She glared at them and continued to walk down the hall.
"Hello Pansy," a voice said, Pansy turned her head to the sound of the voice and it was her, the one person she doesn't want to talk to right now.
"Hello there Hermione," Pansy said coldly, but she cover her tone with a smile.
"How have you been?" Hermione asked walking next to Pansy.
Pansy held back a eye roll. "Could be better," she answered truthfully.
"Me too," Hermione answered sadly.
Pansy raised an eyebrow. "What do you mean by that?"
"Well," Hermione whispered so that only Pansy could hear her."So many people will not mind their own business , and it's getting on my nerve."
"They are called haters, Hermione, almost everyone has at least one," Pansy said with a frown.
"Well in my case it is all of Hogwarts, minus you, Theo, Blaise,Draco, Valentine and Ginny," Hermione said holding her books closer to her chest.
"What? Do you mean that Potter and Weasley aren't talking to you?" Pansy asked, looking at the girl next to her.
Hermione hanged her head. "It's more like shunning, but yes you are right."
"Oh," was Pansy's only reply. Pansy knows how it feels to be shuned, her parents did it to her when she seven and never stopped, but the Malfoys invited her over the summer once and made her feel loved. Maybe that's why she is jealous of Hermione, she as Draco and his love, as for her she as no one and no one's love.
Pansy turned her glaze at Hermione, to her surprise, she was crying softly. Pansy places a hand on her shoulder and told her that everything will be okay.
Hermione looked up at Pansy with a sad smile. The one thing that surprised Pansy even more was Hermione's eyes, they had a misty shade of pink in them. Pansy's eyes widen, eyes only turn a tint of pink when under a love potion. Pansy shook her head, Draco would never give Hermione love potion, he cares too much about her to do that.
"Did you drink any thing at breakfast?" Pansy asked assuming that someone poured love potion in Hermione's drink.
"Well I had water.."Hermione answered with a confused smile.
"Did it taste funny?"
"No, it tasted like any type of water.."
"Are you sure?"
"Positive."
Pansy slowly nodded and then her arm fell to her side. Pansy opened the great hall door, she walked in, but she looked back and Hermione didn't move. She rolled eyes and walked back to the petrified girl behind her.
