Snow still covered the Hogwarts grounds as students entered the Great Hall for breakfast. The weekend passed and many forgot about the fight between Ron and Draco.
Hermione sat with the Slytherins for breakfast this cold Monday morning, no matter how much Valentine and Ginny begged her sit with them.
Both Blaise and Pansy where sitting next to each other, talking among themselves. Draco and Theo were in a deep conversation about Quidditch and what not. Leaving Hermione with her thoughts.
So many things happen this year, but she has to face the problems and fight for what she cares about. Yes, many things happened to her, but she had help, Hermione looked up at Draco and smiled.
Yes, she had help from a fallen angel with a green tie and gray eyes.
"Attention, please," McGonagall yelled from the golden podium. "ATTENTION!!!!"
The chatter stopped and all eyes were on Mcgonagall.
She cleared her throat and continued. "I would like all who helped in the battle of Hogwarts to stay for an announcement from the minister of magic, but as for the rest of you I would like it if you went off to your daily schedule."
A few grumbles from the first through sixth years were heard, but a glare from McGonagall made them stand and walk out.
Draco nodded to his other three Slytherin friends and they nodded back, all four Slytherins stood and started to walk out.
"Where are you four going?" Hermione asked as she grabbed Draco's wrist.
Draco didn't make eye contact with her, he couldn't look into those chocolate brown eyes that just make him melt or else a strange feeling will flow in his body. "Hermione, "he said softly so she could only hear his voice, "we didn't help with anything during the war, I know it, they know it and you know it."
"Draco that isn't tr-"
"Hermione, it's fine," Draco said reassuringly with a small grin.
She bit her lip and nodded, but she doesn't want him to leave her. Not now, not ever, but there is always something between them.
He turned and walked to the Great Hall doors with Theo, Blaise and Pansy behind him.
She sighed and walked to the professor table so that she could hear the announcement clearly. She forced a smile as she walked closer to the table.
"Miss Granger, where are Mr. Malfoy and his three other friends going?" McGonagall asked once Hermione was close enough to her.
"They believe that they did nothing during the second war," Hermione answered with a frown.
"They kind of didn't," Harry said to Ron, Hermione felt her face redden with anger.
She walked to him until her face was inches away from his, she grabbed his tie almost choking him with it. "Do i have to remain you on who didn't tell Bellatrix that Harry freaking Potter was in the same room as her. Do you know who that was Potter?"
"Ah um..."
"It was Draco you idiot! You-no all of us would have been dead if he hadn't held his tongue,"Hermione snapped making all around her jump away in shock and fear.
"Miss Granger please contain yourself," McGonagall said, "Minister Kingsley will be here any moment..."
As if on cue the Minister himself walked into the Great Hall, with two Aurors behind him. With a grin on his lips he walked next to McGonagall. Hermione's eyes widen and she ametly released Harry's tie from her grip. She walked backwards and ended up next to Luna, she smiled at her and she smiled back.
