Birds were chirping and merpeople were singing in the lake. The grounds of Hogwarts was quiet, only the birds chirping. The students of Hogwarts were still sleeping, wondering in their dreams that may or may not come true. But one late teenage girl was already up, doing homework.
Hermione wanted to have a head start on homework, so her day can be 'fun as fun' as Professor Chevalier put it.
The candlelight helped Hermione see her work. The rest of the room was dark, the sun hasn't rose from the depths of the night. Stars still gleamed with pride.
"BB Elixir helps the taker... "Hermione mumbled to herself. Hermione's Potions' homework was almost done, just a few more sentences.
Hermione strength her arms and twisted her back. She turned to looked out of the balcony, the sun was slowly rising between the mountains. The stars disappeared once the sun was over the mountains.
Hermione looked back down at her potions assignment and continued writing about BB Elixir.
A small tap on one of the windows told Hermione that their was a owl wait for either for her or Malfoy. A thought at it might be from Ron came across her mind, so she just ignored it.
The tapping continued but it was faster and faster. Hermione was losing her temper with the tapping owl, but she still ignored it.
"Ugh, fine I'm coming. I'm coming,"Hermione grumbled to the tapping owl.
She got out of her seat and walked to the window were the tapping was coming from.
The owl was a small barn owl it had a small golden band around it's left ankle with a H in bolded on it. The owl looked determined to get inside, so it continued to tap.
Hermione opened the window, the owl flew right in and landed on a candle stand.
"Yeah come right on in," Hermione said angrily to the owl.
It hooted angrily back to her as if to tell her to shut up. Hermione rolled her eyes, then walked to the owl to get the letter. But the owl pecked her with it's beak and flew to another candle stand.
"MALFOY !!!!!!" Hermione yelled so that he can hear her, which he did.
Malfoy ran down the stairs in a matter of seconds, his wand was pointing in every direction.
"Who's there! I'm armed and I'm not afraid to blast you into albion!!" Malfoy yelled to no one.
"Malfoy do you want to wake all of Hogwarts on a Saturday,"Hermione hissed to him.
"Well then don't yell my name in the middle of the night,"Malfoy hissed back to her, while flicking his wand. A kettle and mug came flowing in and it poured some tea in the mug, then the mug flowed to Malfoy and he took it gladly.
"It's seven thirty in the morning,so I think I did you a favor,"Hermione said to him, while sitting back in her chair.
"Do you want some tea?" Malfoy asked her. She was surprised that he offered her some tea, but she only said "sure", which made him nod and flick his wand. Another mug came flowing in, the kettle poured tea in the mug,then it flowed to Hermione.
"Thanks,"Hermione said then grabbed the mug from the air and placed on the study table. She continued to write her excreadit easy.
"So why did wake me from my beauty sleep,"Malfoy asked, while sitting on the chair in front of Hermione.
"You're going to need more sleep then," Hermione said, but kept her eyes on her paper.
Malfoy laughed, but not out of hatred,no because what Hermione said was funny.
