"I got this..you got this Hermione..just say what you practice this morning," Hermione thought while getting closer to the Gryffindor table.

Every Gryffindor was sitting eating lunch like every normal Tuesday. Each house were mining their own business, but the majority of them where gossiping.

"Oi buttercup come over here and tell Harry that the Chudley Cannons are going to make it to the Quidditch World Cup this year," Ron yelled from the end of the of the table, Harry and Ginny were both sitting next to each other across from Ron.

Hermione was now in front of her best friend, brother and boyfriend. She took a deep breath and then ran through her speech she planned only a few hours ago.

"Ronald I would like to have a word with you," Hermione calmly asked the red head in front of her.

"'Ronald'? This must be important," Ron joked, but he got up from his seat so his back won't be on Hermione.

"Yes it is," Hermione start, nervously rubbing her hands together," Ron.. I..."

"You what?"

"I.. want us to just be friends.."

"What do you mean by that?"

"Ron let me finish.."

"Yeah sure continue."

"I just want us to be friends...what I'm saying is that I want to break up with you."

Everyone's eyes and ears were now on them. They now have a new topic to talk about, a new gossip to spread.

"What?!"was only Ron's response.

"You heard me," Hermione said blankly.

He just stood there, staring at her as if he either wanted to hit her or just stay were he is lifeless. He did the second one, just standing there lifeless. His ears slowly turned crimson in embarrassment and anger. He nodded to her and then sat back down.

Hermione sat as well, but across from him next to Harry. The hall was quite, and the awkwardest only grew between the two ex's.

"So quidditch practice on Saturday..right Harry," Ginny said awkwardly trying to break the silence.

"Yup quidditch Saturday morning at ten," Harry confirmed with an awkward smile.

Ron nor Hermione spoke to Harry or Ginny. Hermione stared at her empty plat in front of her, mentally throwing a party in her head.

"Woah why is it so quite in here today?" Valentine asked as she took a seat next to Hermione.

"Well..."

"You see.."

"Hermione and Ron..."

"Kind of.."

"You know..."

Valentine gasped at what Harry and Ginny where telling her, and then looked at Hermione as if to say "you didn't do it did you?"

"Valentine of course not," Hermione said immediately," we just..um..just..umm.. broke up."

"Oh for a second there I thought-"

"Who are you again?"Ron said interrupting Valentine's sentence and asked her a question.

"Valentine Gonzalez," Valentine said,"I met your friends on the train here, and if I remember correctly you weren't there. Why is that?"

"That's none of your business," Ron hissed, then left the table without an other word.
