Alpha I Will Not Except I Only Reject!

Chapter Nine

Lucas’s POV

I really cannot believe how far dad is taking this! Why is power so important to him? I didn’t like to beg as my wolf holds his Alpha’s pride, but there is no way I can keep Alisa safe by myself hell I haven’t even changed yet ,I was mentally wishing my change would speed up so I could help keep Alisa safe, or hell even fight my dad for Alpha. Then that is when it hit me.

“Ricardo!” I shouted with pure fear my voice. Footsteps running down the stairs, the door swung open nearly falling off its hinges as Ricardo ran in.

“What, what’s wrong?” he asked panic was written all over his face.

“I know dad’s plan, he will get her tonight I know it, when we are transforming he will get her I know he will,” I spoke fast, but knew he understood. As I looked around there was a good ten to fifteen fighter wolfs standing beside Ricardo, even Alpha Jackson was there.

“Ok Ricardo I am sending you off to your uncle’s pack with Alisa she will go through the change there.”  Alpha Jackson said to his son, then he looked over at me.

“Lucas you stay here with Clarisse as we know your father is no threat to you,” he said.                         

“Ok, thank you for helping us, I am sorry I cannot help any more but dad has cut my link off,” I replied. Clarisse was helping Alisa find some clothes and bits to take with her to his uncle’s pack, which was a two-hour drive away.

The moon will be at its fullest in just under four hours, and all our lives Alisa and me have planned this night, we were meant to be together with or without our mates! I was mentally trying to put a brave face on, as I know seeing her sad face is going to break me. I walked into Ricardo’s bedroom where I knew they all where.

“Hey,” I said looking everywhere but at Alisa. Clarisse came over and held my hand, giving it a squeeze; it was amazing how just her touch was calming me down.

“Alisa you will be alright ok, Ricardo will look after you. I know we planned this night for years but I will call you later ok,” I said, trying to make it easier for her. She ran over and jumped on me, hugging me as if it was the last.  I was breaking and fast, she cried in to my neck .

“I love you Lucas,” she said, in between her sobs as I made my way out to the car with Alisa still in my arms.

“I love you too Alisa,” I replied with so much meaning.

As I placed her in the car I kissed her forehead.

“Good luck sis, I will see you soon love you,” I said giving her one more kiss. Clarisse was back by my side rubbing her hand up and down my arm.

“She will be alright Lucas, Ricardo won’t let anything happen to her I can promise you that,” she said, as she kissed my cheek. As they were about to drive off Ricardo looked at me.

“We will call the minute we get there ok?” he said. I nodded, as I knew no words would come out as I see my twin sister leaving.  

A couple of hours past and I still have not heard anything from them.  I have been pacing up and down the room for the last half an hour and Clarisse had to go and see her dad about the arrangements for tonight.  We should really be with my pack for the transformation into my wolf, as it is tradition that the female mate will move to the males pack, and with me being the next in line Alpha, I am risking losing my pack. Nevertheless, right now, I do not want to face my dad, as I would more than lightly kill him. My phone rang and without looking at the ID I answered it

“Alisa; where are you?” I quickly said.

“Ahh son are you protecting your slutty twin, well don’t worry she will be safe soon,” he said laughing an evil laugh down the phone.

“If you lay one finger on her I will personally KILL YOU DO YOU HEAR ME, I WILL KILL YOU!” I shouted down the phone before I hung up. I collapsed to the floor as panic began to rush through my body. Clarisse was by my side with her hand placed on my lower back rubbing soothing circles, While Alpha Jackson stood by the door.  He walked over to me and placed a hand on my shoulder.

“Son was that your dad?” he asked in a calm voice, I nodded.

“Ok I am going to need you to tell me what he said ok?” I nodded again, as he gave my shoulder a light squeeze. After I had told him what was said, he decided it would be best if he sets some of his wolfs for protection just in case my dad tries to interfere with me when I transform.

“Lucas I would like you to join our pack just for tonight so we will be able to link up with you just so we will be able to protect you, will you accept?” he asked.

“Yes I accept Alpha Jackson” I said; I had never felt so sure about anything in all my life.

“Alpha what about Alisa and Ricardo?” I asked, while dreading what he was going to say.

“They are the fine they are there now, but your father has also sent some of his pack out that way, but my brother has his best men on it so please don’t worry,” he said with so much concern.

“I don’t know how I will ever repay you for everything but I will always be here if you ever need me,” I said with gratitude.

An hour later and Clarisse and I were walking out into the forest when I felt a sharp pain going straight through my chest.

“ALISA!” I screamed out.
