🔥Maddison's POV🔥

I wake up to the sound of loud music playing from the house next door, I simply get out of my comfy covers and look out my window and see that guy from last night, that was fucking a girl, is dancing in his room to his own beat.

"Ugh! Why do I have to go to school?" I ask myself, as I shut my curtains.
"Well. You did just move here, so you kinda have to introduce yourself honey." Molly (dads new wife) says opening my door.

"What the hell do you want? I'm pretty sure all you want from my dad is the money right? Like the others?" I say raising my voice clearly pissed off.
"Look, I understand you are still pissed that your mom isn't married to your dad. But you should at least give me a chance. I really am trying to be the best mom I can for you-" She isn't able to finish the sentence, cause I interrupt her,
"Actually, your only my step mom, and you will never EVER BE MY MOM. My mom may have abused me and my brother our whole lives, but I believe she can change. So don't ever say you'll be my MOM."
-"Sorry, Maddi. I truly want to be your mom. And I know I can't replace your mother. But I'm trying my best to even be a good step mom. And I think you should know. Could I tell you a little story of why I married you father?" She asks smiling sympathetically.
"Yeah go ahead. I have time. Anyways. I woke way to early, because that asshole had to play his music so damn loud. You can sit down on my bed if you want." I say, as she nods, and walks over to my bed as we both sit down.

"Ok. This is really hard, but you deserve to know. I understand why you feel this way about me, because my dad was the one abused me, so he and my mom agreed to get divorced. My mom got married to a very rich millionaire. He was actually hot, and way to young for his age. He looked like he was nineteen. Anyways, I felt the same way about him the same way you feel about me, but anyways he abused me when my mom wasn't around, he treated me like crap and he always was drunk. He actually was cheating on my mom, and I caught him do it, and he said he would kill me if I told my mom, and considering I was only six years old, I tried telling my mom, he caught me, so he kidnapped me, he sexually...... abbbbussed me and he almost killed me, luckily, my mom found me, and a really nice and sweet guy who was hotter then my step dad, saved me, he called the cops later on and my step dad went to jail and was sentenced to stay in jail till he died. But when that guy returned me to my mom, I realized he used to go to school with my mom in high school. Turns out she liked him since high school, but he rejected her, anyways he was a player, but changed his ways after he married my moms best friend who was actually the one my step dad cheated with on my mom, and so so did that guy found out and so later on his name is Xander by the way, and Xander and my Mom started dating and soon did get married years later. He truly did love her in high school before she liked him, and he reacted when she spilled her heart out to him. But anyways I know how your feeling. So I want to make it up to you. So just give me one chance. That's all I'm asking for. But I truly love your dad. He's amazing. I sometimes I wish you and Danni  were my child, because then you guys wouldn't be abused by your mother. But I'll let you get ready." Molly says. When she finishes I give her a hug and say,
"I'm so sorry Molly. I mean mom. You are my new mom. I am willing to give you a chance." I say as she nods and hugs me back as she gets up and leaves my room as she shuts my bedroom door.

I quickly walk into my walk in closet and grab a pink dress hanging on a hanger with black wedges, a black purse, and a gold bracelet.

I quickly remove my clothes and go to the bathroom, as I shut the door and lock it as I turn on the light as I turn on the water and hop in the shower.

When I'm done showering I quickly turn off the water and dry my body, and dry my hair, as I dress quickly and brush my hair.
