*Recap*

Yesterday CeCe was officially adopted by Shannon Aims. Shannon was served papers for her divorce from Derek. Derek wants to take Lilian to England.

*Present*

Today I start chemotherapy for my cancer treatment. That means I get the results of what type of cancer I have. We got up early for the appointment. Shannon told me to bring a blanket and something to keep me occupied during the chemotherapy. She said that there might be some other people there in the room so I might be able to talk and that if I wanted her to that she could come in and sit with me. I just kinds shook my head and went with what she was telling me to do.

I guess I was just shocked. All of this stuff hitting me at once. First the Internship. Then Cancer. And now I am officially a Aims and me and Andrew are together so basically two goods and two bad's. I guess it equals out.

*Hospital*

We were just sitting there in the waiting room at the hospital. Silent. There was like ten other people in there but no one was talking. Finally they called "Aims."

They led us to a big office and said " the doctor will be in shortly."

As we waited Shannon said " It will be over as soon as you know it."

I didn't say anything back to her. I just sat there waiting for the doctor to walk in and tell me what type of cancer I have and the different ways to "cure" it.

After a little while the doctor walked in and said "Good morning I am Doctor Stephaher." I mumbled Good Morning back and just sat there wait for the news.

Shannon began to talk to Dr. Stephaher and then he looked over at me and said "do you understand the process?" I told him that I wanted to know how long I have had cancer. And what type of cancer it is. And what are my chances of curing it.

He just sat there for a little bit trying to understand why I was so angry then he asked "would you be more comfortable with a newer younger female doctor?" I told him that I just wanted my questions answered and that I was perfectly fine with him."

He pulled out a file from the big filing cabinet and said "just a moment." then he said it apears that you have had the cancer for about seven years. And the particular type of cancer that I have is Leukemia. There is a chance that it is one hundred percent curable but that is not always the case.

Shannon and I just sat there in the worlds most uncomfortable chairs processing the information he had given us. Seven years is a long time to have cancer and not know about it. I could have died. I guess I am a very lucky girl.

Then he said "Chemotherapy is a major form of treatment for Leukemia. This drug treatment uses chemicals to kill the Leukemia cells. Depending on the type of Leukemia you have, You may receive a single drug or a combination of drugs. These drugs may come in pill form or in a shot. But in your case we are going to do shot form." So he opened a door to a room of of his office. There was a bunch of chairs and machines. I guess I will be hooked up to the machine.

He sat me in a chair and said " Okay I will put this I.V. in your arm and the medicine will be flowed through it. A nurse will be in soon with the shot. And some water. Any questions?" "No" I replied

Shannon said that I am a very strong girl and that I can do this.

The nurse came in and said "Hi. How are you? Warning this shot will make you a bit loopy." Then she said " ready?" And she stuck it in and I felt a pinch.

I sat in there for about two hours. Freezing cold room and a fashion magazine. -_-

After it was done the doctor came in and said that I would have to come in every week until further notice. We left.

Once we got home I told Shannon I was tired and that I was going to lay down. I fell asleep as soon as I hit the pillow.
