Eyes.
Eyes aren't just a part of a human body that allows one to see, it's also a gateway to one's soul.
Iwaizumi loved Oikawa's eyes. Yes, brown eyes were very common, but Oikawa's were different. The brown color of his eyes was mixed with a tiny bit of cherry color. They sparkled even when the day was cloudy.
Iwaizumi knew when Oikawa would be lying, from the way he would look at him.
Oikawa said a quite a few times that he loved Iwaizumi's eye color. Hell, he even wrote his biology essay on them. He would say that they were as dark and as green as the depths of the jungle.
Quite an interesting description.
Oikawa's eyes never changed, Iwaizumi could tell how he was feeling from the way Oikawa looked at him, but then one day something happened..
It happened after they graduated from the University. Oikawa disappeared off somewhere with Hana, leaving Iwaizumi alone in a hall full of people he didn't know.
But once he came back and looked at Iwaizumi, Iwaizumi froze.
He couldn't tells what Oikawa was thinking, how he was feeling. It was something unknown for him.
