Christmas Movie

I cuddle close to my boyfriend as he pulls a blanket over us.

"So let me get this straight. You want to lay here all day, and watch Christmas movies?" I ask.

Chrom nods and kisses my head "Yes. We deserve a break. And there is nothing better than having a movie marathon!" He says.

I sigh "Alright, fine. And you're probably not going to let me go." I say, nudging his arms, which are wrapped around me.

He hugs me tighter "Yup! You are not going anywhere! Now, let's get started, shall we?" He asks.

I sigh again, and settle into his arms "Fine..."

...

"I freaking love The Polar Express!" Chrom exclaims.

I shrug "It's a'ite. I like to think of it as the, "It's Christmas, let's put on a Christmas movie!" Movie. Seriously, every year in elementary school, they played it!" I say.

Chrom laughs "Because it's a classic!"

...

"Have I ever told you I was terrified of the Grinch when I was little?" I ask.

Chrom laughs "Haha, no! Why would you be afraid of the Grinch?" He asks.

I pout "The live action one! He freaks me out!" I say.

Chrom hugs me tighter "Don't worry. I'll protect you from the Grinch!" He says.

I roll my eyes.

...

"YOU'VE NEVER SEEN HOME ALONE?!?!" Chrom shouts.

I rub my ears "Ow. And yes. I've never seen it! Any of them, in fact." I say.

Chrom grabs the remote "We are watching them now!" He commands.

I groan.

...

"Elf is the best Christmas movie ever!" I exclaim.

Chrom laughs "Its pretty good! Gotta love Will Ferrell!" He says.

I nod "Yes!"

...

"Well, that's it! We've seen all the Christmas movies you wanted to watch! Can I get up now?" I ask. No response. "Chrom?"

I hear light snoring, and I can feel the slight rise and fall of Chrom's chest on my back.

"Chrom?" He fell asleep... "Chrom. I have to get up!" I say.

He mumbles something in his sleep, and pulls me flush against him.

I sigh "I guess I'm staying here!" I say, laying back and nuzzling into him.
