"Ok! So we need to pick the perfect Christmas tree! Can't be too hard, right?" Anna asks as we walk along the tree farm.

"Right, not too hard. My mom had an exact science to this." I say.

Anna looks at me weird "Really? There's a science to this?" She asks.

I nod "Yep! Like, the pine needles can't be too low to the ground or else the cat will attack them. And, it can't be too tall or else it won't fit in the house. Stuff like that." I say.

"Huh, my family was cheep, so we had artificial trees." She says.

I laugh "Haha! Well, I think that we might have to do that if we can't find a tree." I say.

"And, I won't need to clean up pine needles!" She jests.

I laugh again "Really? Is that all you're thinking about?" I ask.

"Look, we are proud parents to a kitten, so he will DEFINITELY attack the tree!" She points out.

I laugh, and put my arm around her "Well, shall we find the perfect tree then?" I ask.

She giggles "Let's so this!"

...

After an hour, we approach a tree that looks perfect "How about-" I'm cut off.

"CHROM WE CAN'T GET A REAL TREE!!!" Anna screeches.

"Why?" I ask.

She shows me her phone "According to this website, pine needles are HIGHLY toxic to cats! We can't get a real tree!" She explains.

I sigh "You love that cat too much, princess." I say.

She scoffs "First off, stop calling me princess! Second, he is our son." She says.

"He's a cat."

"He's my baby."

I sigh "Fiiiiiine, get in the car." I say.

We eventually fine our perfect tree... at Home Depot. But all is well, because my princess is happy.
