Santana POV

It was summer break at school and I was spending my whole two months working at my best friend, Raven's nail and hair salon. Well, it was her mothers shop. But, her mom was out of town for 6 months at a cancer research boot camp.

I always wanted to do hair and I'm happy her mom hired me. Raven and I have been best friends since 2nd grade. And now we're in college together. We go to Atlanta University.

"Santana how you doing girl?" Raven asked

"Good. Just ready to make this money and get done with school." I said

"Right you know your birthday is in two months!!!!! What are you going to do?"

I really didn't want to do anything special but I haven't had a party in a while so I was going to throw one.

"I might just throw a party."

"Nooooo! I will throw the party for you."

"Okay well thanks. I gotta get ready, My client will be here at 3." I said

23 minutes later

"Then I was like hell nah nigga! Why didn't you tell me you had a WIFE and 3 kids?" My client Shyna said. We were listening to her story about a man named Sivan who she had been recently messing around with. A story almost every month about her having a new man.
Shyna was 24 with long pretty brown hair, light green eyes, caramel complexion and stood at 5,4.

Shyna was like a sister to both Raven and I. Being that we are both 19. She was really cool and kept us entertained at the shop. There were 3 other people in the shop, a gay guy named Kay Doll, another gay guy, Neil, and Drose the stud. She was always flirting with Raven and of course she flirted back.

"This why I don't fuck with the dick. I fuck bitches with my strap. No strings attached." Drose said

"Uh uh girl. You gots to be crazy. The dick have me doing Kart wheels. You better get on that miss I wanna be a thug ass nigga." Kay Doll said

"Kay you always got sum to say to me! At the end of the day I'm in love with the puh puh pussssyyyyy!" Drose sung

"I gotta really agree with both of y'all! Sometimes the dick be smelling like cheese sticks! But, it do get a bitch right." Neil said

Conversation was good, but we were interrupted by the door opening revealing a 6,3 light skinned, green eyed, pink lipped boy who had a thuggish appeal to himself. He smiled at everybody and walked up to Drose. They know each other? I thought

"Wassup Mari. What you doin here?" Drose asked

"Nun much just looking for Mama. She here at all or....?" Mari asked

"Yeah yeah she here. She up in her office just chilling while we down here slaving and shit. Her ass tryna be all like royalty and shit." Drose said rolling her eyes

"Drose if you wanna keep your job, I suggest you quit talking shit. Loud mouth ass." Mama said coming down stairs

"Now you know I was just playing wit you baby, I mean Mama." Drose said smirking

Mama rolled her eyes and walked over to Mari hugging him.

"Damari! What are doing here today?" She said excitedly

"Awe you know just wanted to come see you and the shop. But mostly business." Mari said

"Oh, okay, well, let's go to my office." Mama said and they disappeared up the stairs.

Damari POV

"Mama?" I asked

"Yes?" She asked

"Who is that girl down there, with the long black hair and grayish-green eyes?" I asked

She looked at me sideways but then she answered

"Ooooh! You must be talking about Santana. That's Raven's best friend." She said

"Why? What do you want with her huh? She don't need a boy trying to ruin her game and fuck her life over." She kind of snapped at me.

"Yo yo yo! You don't even have to say it like that. I was just asking. And fuck her life over? Haha Mama, your funny. But, we here for business so let me get right to it. I came here to pick up the payment for this month." I said bluntly

"Damari I didn't mean to snap at you its jus-" I cut her off

"No no no. Don't apologize. This is all about business. I respect you for not telling me. Maybe its for the best. Look, can you get my money? I have things to do." I said harshly. That was Mama's problem, she thought I wasn't a man and I couldn't handle things.

"Okay, well, here you go." She said handing me an envelope full of money.

"How much is it?" I asked

"2,439,260,178 dollars" she said

I nodded my head walking to the door. I wasn't paying attention and I bumped into someone dropping my envelope.

"Oh my gosh I am so sorry! I wasn't paying any attention to what I was doing." She said picking up some of the money

"Nah, you coo." I said. I looked and noticed it was the same girl from downstairs.

"What's your name ma?" I asked

"My name is Santana.Yours?" She asked

"I'm Damari Winters." I said staring into her eyes. She looked away handing me my envelope

"Oh. Well, it was nice meeting you. Sorry for bumping into you." She sad walking away quick.
