Really short POV for Raven…but I had no idea what to write for her lol xD
Raven’s POV
I woke up staring at a flower and the smell of crisp morning air. The sun was still not up all of the way and I smiled at the peaceful scene. I tried to forget everything that had happened yesterday, but it was hard to do. Especially thoughts of…I shook my head. No, I couldn’t think about that. I quickly got up and memorized what this place looked like and continued to walk on further into the woods.
Zach’s POV
I pulled my hair once again and mentally slapped myself (again) reminding myself about how stupid I am (again). I shouldn’t have done that to Raven, but at the same time I don’t feel sorry at all. She should except that I’m her mate and she can’t have anyone else.
I paced my room, and felt like punching a wall. Where could she be?! How is it possible that in two years, her personality just changed completely? I had to face she was no longer vulnerable and the small 15 year old I knew.
But I still don’t get why she ran off. Shouldn’t she be drawn to me? I ran downstairs and called up someone who might know the answers. Her brother, Justin. He was on a pack duty but I was going to pull him out of it completely if it meant getting answers about Raven.
“Hello?” I heard his voice on the other line.
“Hey…um Justin. I have something very important to tell you.”
There was a pause and then he answered, “What is it?”
“Raven…I never told you. She’s back.”
“WHAT?!” I heard his voice raise, “And you didn’t call IMMEDIATELY?!”
“Well…” I said embarrassed, “So much has happened. But Justin, I need you to come back. Now.” My voice dripped with the authority that came with being an alpha and I heard a gulp.
“Sure thing. I’ll be there in about an hour.”
I waited for the next hour by the door, sitting in the living room on the leather couch. I heard the door click and in came Justin.
“Where is she? Where is my little sister.” I looked down.
“I don’t know, she left last night…” I paused, “Into the woods.”
“And you didn’t go right after her.”
“You don’t know what-“
“The point is, is you didn’t look for my little sister!”
“Just shut up and listen to me. One, you will NOT speak to me that way again, as your alpha. Two, she ran off! I was in to much shock to move dude.” Justin coward back a bit, and I raised my chin high, “We’ll find her, just let me explain.”
Raven’s POV
Was I really going to do this again? Run off like some coward? I thought about everyone who I would be leaving. My best friend Seba, my boyfriend (though I just don’t know anymore) Jace, then there is Ethan, and Jake, who I haven’t talked to very much since we came here. I missed my boys. Yeah I called them that, because they’re my family.
But I was also leaving Zach again. But the roles were switched. I was rejecting instead of being rejected. Still, could I really leave it all behind? Could I seriously go through all of this?
I stopped in the never ending forest. The clustered trees all looked exactly the same. It just sank in that I had no idea where I was, or where I was going.
But I did know something for sure. I was determined to go through it entirely too. So I started to run. In the direction towards a new future.
