Chapter 11 Pain

James's POV

Riley comes out of the bathroom in her robe and I smirk. "Don't even think about it mister!" She said and I stop smiling.

She gets changed and then she comes and cuddles up to me in bed.
I wrap my arms around her and and I feel her relax. I kiss the side of her head and whisper "It has been a long time since we have had moments like this." She nods and snuggles farther into my chest. I rub her arm up and down. She looks up and smiles and I kiss her lips tenderly.

She soon falls asleep in my arms. 'I love her so so much.' I said in my head. I thought about the first time I fell for her.

Flashback

I followed her that day when Miss Kate asked Riley to pick up the costumes for Regionals. I kept detouring her because I wanted to spend time with her. She was annoyed that i'd kept sidetracking her. We ended up getting at the costume shop late and we had to dance to let the owners open the door for us and I finally got that flip that I was trying to do for the entire day, with Riley's help.  At the end of the day, she held my hand and I knew from that point she was going to be mine forever, even if she didn't know it.

End of flashback

Our intimate moment only lasted for a few minutes because Piper came knocking on the door. "Riley?" She opens the door and she sees her asleep in my arms. "Aww Jiley moment!" She says. "What's up Pipes?" I ask her quietly but at the same time annoyed that she interrupted our moment. "Um someone wants to see you." "Who?" I ask. "Umm just come out and see."
"Piper this better be a good reason." I told her. I carefully lift Riley off of me and I walk out of the bedroom with Piper and I couldn't believe who was there.

"Eldon, Michelle! What are you doing here!?" I say excitedly. "We came to see you win Internationals silly!" Michelle exclaims as I hug both of them. "Where's Riley?" She asks. "She's sleeping in her room." I tell her. "Oh she must be exhausted." She states. "Yea she is. Dude, I am so excited that your here." I tell Eldon. "Same." We sit and talk until midnight and then we finally talk ourselves into going to sleep.

Riley's POV

I wake up alone in my bed, I have no idea how long I was asleep for. It's 6:47 and we usually leave the hotel by 7:45.

I came out of my room and saw Michelle. I had to blink a few times to see if I was dreaming. "Michelle!!" I squeal. She turns around and squeals "Ri!" I run up and give her a hug.

"What are you doing here?!" I ask. "We are here to see you win girly!" She says excitedly. "So are you staying in this hotel?" I ask. She nods "Actually next door." "Fun!" "Well I have to get A-Troupe up. It's Richelle's solo today." I tell her. "How are you?" She asks. "James and I are really great and there's one thing that you should know." "What?" "I'm pregnant." I state. "Omg Ri? Are you kidding?" She says in disbelief. I shake my head no. "Congratulations girl!" She hugs me. "How long?" she asks. "I don't know." I answer. "So your telling me that you finally get pregnant but you have no idea how far along you are?" I bite my lip and say "Well I found out a few days before coming here." "Riley, you need to see a doctor. "Why?" "I am calling one today and see if they can squeeze you in." "But Michelle!" I protest but she stops me by reminding me to wake up the team.

We arrive at the theater and the team is in the dressing rooms and Richelle is stretching. Michelle got me a appointment at 2:45. Luckily Richelle's solo is earlier.

Michelle's POV

Richelle's dance was incredible. You could see her passion and love for dance and her drive to be perfect. I remembered when she was just 10 and was in J-troupe. She gotten into a troupe at 13 1/2 but looked much older so that is why Miss Kate let her in. Actually it was Miss Riley at the time but who cares. The Next Step made it to the next round and I am so excited. One of the Internationals challenges are next. I am a little nervous about that.
