Chapter 13 Tie breaker

Riley's POV

I watch the team drive away from the hotel while standing in the parking lot. I turn to Piper who wanted to stay with me since she wasn't dancing today.

I am surprising Piper with a spa day. James said I could walk around the hotel but that's it. The appointment isn't till 10:30 so we have a few hours to kill. "Hey Piper, Let's go down to the pool." I suggest. "Sure!" We get changed and head down to the pool.

Piper jumps in feet first and calls me to join her. "Piper I can't go in all the way but I can put my feet in." "Oh sorry I forgot" I smile at her. "Don't even worry about it." I quote James. I dip my feet in the cool turquoise water.

We find a ball so we decide to play catch for a little bit. After that Piper shows me some tricks she could do in the water.

We dried off after being in the pool for an hour and a half. We order two smoothies from the café and I drink my peach smoothie slower then usual because I wasn't very hungry but Piper drank all of her Mango smoothie before we reached the hotel room.

"Let's watch a movie." Piper suggests. "Ok that sound relaxing. You can pick the movie." I say. "Ok how about we watch an Disney film?"  I laugh. "sure."  I changed into some comfy pants and a long soft t-shirt. I sat down next to Piper and the Little Mermaid began to play on the small tv.

James POV

I hope the girls enjoy their girly girl day. Today is when one person from 3 different teams have to work together for a trio. (I decided to go with a trio instead of four people)

Olivia is from France so she is going to do this one. I guess she can speak French and English and some Dutch so we're good.

I bring Olivia to her other two new team mates. I see Jake from the American team and Olivia runs off to say hi but then I see the other team that we are paired with....England. "Oh boy." I say quietly. "James!" I hear a familiar female British accent.

"Ella" I try to sound excited. "Well where's Riley?! I want to see her!" Ella exclaims. "Why would you care?" I tell her. "That was harsh." Ella said. " I changed James, I am not the same girl that took Riley's solo." "Prove it." "Ok well that's hard because you obviously don't believe me. How about dinner tonight with you and Riley?" "Fine."
I say. "Good, Now what's up with you too? Married, dating or engaged?" She asks. I show her my ring. "Oh James, congrats!" She says. "Thanks but we better get our dancers ready." "Alright let's go Arabella." Arabella followed Ella to Jake and Olivia.  They all speak  English so I think this will be a really great team.

Riley's POV

The little Mermaid finished playing when my alarm went off. "What's that for?" Piper asks. "Oh nothing" I say. "Oh" Piper says. "Um Piper let's go downstairs to the café." "Why, we just had a smoothie?." "Because I'm hungry, let's go." "Can I stay here?" "No let's go." "Ok.." She said putting on her shoes.

We walk down to the Lobby and I take Piper's hand. "Where are we going?" "Piper just be quiet." She stoped talking right there. "Hi, Riley 10:30." I tell the check in lady. "Yes, I will show you to the change room." The lady said. I took Piper by the hand and followed the lady down the hall. "Here you are, Change into your robes and then enter that door to get your massages." "Thank you Linda." I say.

I shut the door and hand Piper her robe. "Am I dreaming?" Piper exclaims. I giggle "No, Piper now get dressed!" "Ok" she giggled. "Wait how did you know her name?" She asks. "The name tag on her shirt." I reply. "Oh I should have known that." We enter the massage room and immediately I smell lavender and eucalyptus. "Mmm smells good."

James POV

"1 2 3 4 lets go Olivia!" "Yea that's it!" Ella tells the trio. "Awesome!" Ryan exclaimed. "Can..We...take a....five...minute break?" Jake asked between breaths. "Yea...please?" Arabella asks "What do you think James?" Ella asked me. "Yea sure take 5 guys." I hand Olivia her bottle of water. She gives me a look that says seriously a break again. I silently laugh at her.
