Riley's POV

I run after Olivia because I need to know what's going on. I open the door and gasp. I see poor Olivia on the floor passed out. "Olivia!" I scream but I feel like no one can hear me. Then James appears next to me. "Call an ambulance!" I say terrified about what could happen to Olivia. "Riley, I called a ambulance, but you need to calm down." James says as tears run down my cheeks. The dancers peeked through the open door and James told them to wait in studio A until further notice.

James hops into the ambulance with Olivia who is on the stretcher. I called Olivia's parents but they didn't answer so I send the rest of the dancers home and go to the hospital.

I park the car and run inside. "Olivia Rembert?"  I question the receptionist. "Ah yes, Are you her family?" She asks. "No, I called the parents but they didn't answer." "Did you call siblings or extended family?" She asks. "Olivia doesn't have siblings and I don't know any of her relatives." I explain. "I see, well you can fill out this form." She says handing me a clipboard with a bunch of paperwork on it. I walk away from the front desk and find a seat. I start filling in the paperwork but I hear my name. "Riley!" James says getting my attention. He comes over to me and gives me a hug. "I'm..s.so...sca.red." I stutter into his shoulder. "Shh Riley, you have to stay strong." He reminds me and I sit back down. "Did they say anything to you?" I question. "No they just took her." He answers.

We must have waited 4 hours before we got any news. I called and called Olivia's parents but it was like they didn't exist. They had yet to answer any of my calls. We haven't told anyone what happened yet because we still don't know what entirely happened. "James Tordjman?" A doctor says scanning the waiting room. James and I stood up and made our way over to where the doctor was. "Hello are you James?" He asks in a deep voice. "Yes that's me." James answers. "Are you the parents of Olivia Rembert?" He asks. "No, but no one is here for her and no one else is coming. We have tried to call her parents but they won't pick up." James explains. "I see, well normally we wouldn't let any one know about a patient except for family members but since you too are the only ones here I suppose I will have to make an exception." He says looking down at his clipboard with notes. "Well, Olivia has a sprained wrist and a lot of scars and bruises along her legs, top half of her arms and middle area. She is quite underweight for a girl her age and looks like she has been beaten a lot. Maybe at home or school I don't know but other then that I couldn't find anything wrong." The doctors explains.

I slowly think about all the times Olivia has been strange and it all makes sense now. But I couldn't think anymore because I started to feel a little light headed.

"James I need to sit down." I state quietly but he is busy talking to the doctor. "James I need to sit down." I repeat a little louder. He turns his head to look at me. "Did you say something?" He asks. "I need to sit down." I repeat the third time.

He helps me into a chair and asks "Do you need anything?" "Water." He grabs some money and leaves.

After what happened today I have a huge headache. Not mentally but physically. I took some medicine out of my purse and waited for James to return with water. I probably shouldn't be taken ibuprofen while I'm pregnant but I can't stand this headache.

"I got you something." James says when he returns. I only sent him to get water. What else did he buy?

"It's from the top of a mountain." He says and I grin widely. "Natural spring water" he says giving me the plastic water bottle. "Thank you." I say still smiling. He kisses my forehead and sits down and grabs a magazine. I look at the pills in my hand and throw them in my mouth and swallow them with the water.

15 minutes later I feel better and I am able to think. We couldn't see Olivia till tomorrow morning and I pleaded with James to let me stay but he said we both needed to rest from the day we both had. I didn't agree or disagree with him but half of me was saying to stay here and the other half was saying go home and get rest. Your body and baby need it. Eventually I made my decision and I went home with James.
