Chapter 26 Day after Day

Riley's POV

Tomorrow is the Raw Motion convention and the dancers couldn't be more excited, Well the dancers who are going.

James has been so cute lately. He has made me breakfast and made sure I eat lunch and get enough sleep and rest.

Tonight Emily is coming by the house because she has found out her baby's gender and she wants to tell me first.

I am sorting through some paperwork when Grace, one of the J-troupers comes in. "Miss Riley?" Her sweet voice asks. I look up from my desk and see Grace standing by the doorway. "Come her Gracie." I say. Grace is one of the youngest dancers in the studio and also one of the sweetest.

"Miss Riley, Mr. James wants me to check on you." She says. I giggle when she called James, Mr. James. "Why isn't Mr. James's here himself?" I ask copying what she called James.

"Because he was teaching one of the B-Troupe boys when I walked by and he asked if i could check on you." She says shy. "You can tell Mr. James that I am just fine." I say. "Ok! Wait, when the baby arrives will you let us hold him?" She asks innocently. "I'm sure sweetie, wait did you say him?" I ask. She nods her head. "I think it will be a boy." She says skipping out of my office. I laugh at how cute she is until I spot Olivia grabbing her stuff out of her cubby and slowing sneaking away. "Olivia!" I shout but she didn't hear me. I quickly got up and followed her but when I opened the door Olivia was no where to be seen.

I sat in my office thinking about Olivia and what could be wrong but then James walks in and plants a kiss on the top of my head. "Yo babe" "Hey, Olivia left practice early without telling anyone." I tell him. "That's strange, but then again she had been acting strange." He says not worried. Typical James. I sigh and he leaves my office.

Emily's POV

Hunter, the kids and myself are on our way to James and Riley's house. I can't wait to see Riley's face when she knows what I'm having. I have a tiny box and inside it will either be a blue bow tie for a boy or a pink hair ribbon for a little girl. Hunter is the only one that knows what the gender is but not for long!

We arrive at my sisters house and I carry in Nathen and Hunter carries in Ellie. I don't bother knocking so I just open the door. "Hi Riley! I shout from downstairs.

Riley's POV

"Hi Riley!" I heard a voice shout from downstairs. "Oh my gosh James! Emily's here!" I say grabbing my shirt and fixing my hair. "Put a shirt on!" I say throwing him a shirt. I rush downstairs and see Emily staring me funny. "What?" I ask. "You have a black and blue spot on your neck." Emily states. I could feel my face turn red. "I thought you two were done with the hickeys Riley. Your not teenagers. What if one of the dancers saw that?" She tells me. "Yea I know Em." I say disappointed in myself for letting it get that far. "Dinner is in the oven, I just need to make some potatoes." I told Emily dropping the subject of the black and blue mark on my neck.

James came down and I mouthed a sarcastic Thank you while pointing to my neck. He just smirks and sits down by Hunter.

Emily and I finish the potatoes and we all sit down and eat supper.

After we ate Hunter tells Emily to open the little box. She giggles and opens it and pulls out a small Blue bow tie. "Congrats Em!" I say hugging her. "Thanks, Ellie, your going to have a little brother." Emily says kissing her daughters cheek. Ellie looks confused and points to Nathen and we all laugh. "No sweetie, your little brother is in mummy's tummy." Emily tells her. Ellie points again but this time to Emily's stomach. Ellie is so adorable.
