Chapter 3: Asuka, my friend.

Sorry for the very strong word at the last part of the last chapter...

Yuriko's P.O.V:

I heard yesterday that Hayato and Asuka were together. And Shino came running to me like a god of light. Faster than light. "YUUUUURIKKOOOOOOOOOOOO!" Was all I could hear from my locker. There was a stampede ._. like... Shino ran so fast there was dust flying everywhere. And by everywhere, I mean EVERYWHERE.

She stopped right in front of me and I patted my skirt. "Wat." Then she told me the story. I fangirl a lot and I did for this as well at first. Then I realized... I put down my own feelings. I had some feelings for Hayato for a while now and not a ton of people know but quite a few. After having my secret exposed, most people started laughing. Teasing. It hurt. I hated it. I tried to act all handy dandy and fine but... I didn't feel that way at all.

People kept asking, why do you like him? Hayato is so uglyyy. Until this one day, a friend I hanged out with asked me... why do you like Hayato? I asked... why do you like Mitsuo [I think you know who this girl is and who the guy is as well HydraSparks [maybe estellehyun and sunnyrocks12] *smirk smirk*]? And in response... she told me... "I like his personality, not his looks". For years, I've thought the same thing...

No one seemed to understand. Even after that, she kept asking me the same question and all I replied with was, "I'm not telling you~" It tortured her soul. But I liked it, I liked doing that. It was fun. Less boring.

After Shino came running, she told me about Asuka. To be honest, I knew they were close friends but I've never exactly been super close to her. I wanted to be but I'm not good with dealing with 'popular girls'.

"Yuriko-chan?"

"H-HAI?!"

"U okie?"

"Y-Yeah... Can you do me a favour?"

"Sure thing."

"C-Can you introduce me to Asuka?"

"OF COURSE!"

Like a hurricane, I was being dragged and spun by Shino and we finally arrived outside of school and we finally found Asuka. "ASUKA!" The hyper woman said. I saw Asuka kind of speed walk away as if she didn't exactly want to see Shino.

"COme here~~~" Shino dashed and caught Asuka by the arm.

"DIS IS MAH FRIEND YURIKO!"

I panicked at the thought... I DIDN'T WANT ANYONE TO KNOW I WAS WORKING AT A CAFÉ!!! WHAT IF I TOLD THEM I DID! WHAT IF THEY FOUND OUT?! I'D BE EMBARRASSED AND ASHAMED FOR THE REST OF MY LIFE!

Shana caught up with us [this is weir.d... writing a story with me in it ._.]. We walked home all together while having Asuka write some things for us. "Hey Yuriko! Bend down!" Asuka said and I obeyed xD. We all stopped to see what she was doing and at the end, I took my phone and checked what she drew.

There was a really cute heart on my cheek. "Arigato! Asuka-chan!"

After school was over and everyone went home to do some stuff, I secretly went into the back of the café I worked at and put on my uniform. "Still sneaking around Yuriko? How long has it been since you worked here?"

"I worked here for only 3 MONTHS! It's only natural to feel ashamed of having such a weird job. My friends would judge me and they'd laugh and I'D BE LONELEE!"

"Calm down Yuriko-chan~Or you won't get the surprise I have for you~"
