5th update: December 17th
You wake up the next morning to find a text from Dan.
Groaning slightly, you roll over to the direction of your nightstand and grab your phone. You squint at how bright the light is shining down in your face.
From: Danyul
Hey you wanna do something fun today?
5:30 AM

Why was Dan texting you this early in the morning? Wasn't he supposed to be asleep? You know that you have school in almost two hours, so you have to reject Dan's plan.

You:
Sorry, Dan. I think you're forgetting that I still have school :')
5:32 AM
A few seconds later, Dan replys.

aw shoot :( Can we maybe hang out after school today then?

yeah, sure! :) see ya after school then

Setting your phone back down, you rub your eyes slightly and sit up to stretch.
Flinging your legs over the bed and standing up, you slip off your penguin/koala pyjama pants. Slipping on a pair of light skinny jeans and a plain white T-shirt, you take a look in the mirror. You decided that you were too tired to put alot of makeup on this morning, so you just apply a little bit of concealer and mascara.
Putting your hair into a bun/braid, you throw on your Northface and slip your backpack onto your shoulders, throwing your adidas/converse/nikes on as well, and quickly run out the door to the bus stop. There was no sign of Dan this time as you stand by the stop sign in the rain. He probably fell back asleep.
It was starting to get cold outside now that you were falling into the month of November, so you shove your hands deep into your coat pockets.
You can hear the bus from down the street, and it skids to a stop infront of you, and you step on to go find another empty seat way in the back of the bus again.
On the bus ride, you have some time to think to yourself about the project and Dan. He hasn't been sitting in his usual spot outside lately. He's also been smiling alot more often. Yesterday, when you had taken that picture of Dan and he had cracked his real smile, it felt as if all of the sorrow, dirt, guilt, and sad memories had been sucked out of that room completely. It was as if his smile was pushing past it all. Dan's smile immedietly put you both in a good mood.
You have never seen Dan smile like that before for the few weeks that you have known him...

"Hey Y/N!" Phil says to you cheerfully, walking up to you in the hallway.
"Hey Phil." you smile, walking up to him.
"You wanna hang out after school today? Go to Starbucks or something? Drinks are on me." he smiles.
"Sorry," you begin to say. "I told Dan that I would hang out with him tod-" you stop mid sentance as you realize that you had just exposed Dan.
"Dan?" Who's Dan?" Phil asks, looking around with curiousness laced in his voice.
