1 week without Brennan

It's been so hard without Brennan this last week. Mum has been helping me with the quads, but it is so hard to wake up in the night after having a long day at gymnastics. Katie comes back today after being on holiday with her family. They all went to see Brennan in LA. I would of loved to go, but it would be exceptionally hard to travel with four babies.

Mum arrives and takes over looking after the quads. I head into the garage and into my car. Time to go to gym. Gym has been quite tough lately. I still have all the skills, but it's quite hard coming back into being exceptionally fit after having four babies.

I arrive at gym and walk in. Today I'm going to focus on bars. Bars is one of my weakest points, so that's why I'm going to work on them.

"Good morning Annie!", Coach Mary says as I walk towards the bars", how are the kids?".

Coach Mary was always there for me when I was going through my tough times. She would bring me food and make sure I was alright.

"Kids are good! It's quite hard without Brennan though", I say, trying to fight off the tears.

I feel my phone vibrate in my pocket. It's got to be Brennan. He texts me every morning and it's normally right when I arrive at gym. I pull out my phone, but the text, it's not from Brennan, it says: Good luck with training today x Love from Mia

MIA? Why the hell would she be messaging me? Maybe she wants to be nice? She went to college the day after her trial. She went to some college in Maryland.

I carry on to bars, I put my grips on and chalk my hands up. I jump onto the bar and start doing my bar routine, all of a sudden, my hand slips and I fall flat on my back. No big mats or anything underneath me.

"Owwwww", I cry out. It hurts so bad. Coach Mary runs over to me.

"It looks like you have just bruised your back", I can hear how worried she is in her voice. I should be fine. Coach Mary helps me into the watching room because I still want to watch the practice. Hayley is also here today so I think I might sit down and watch her.

Coach Mary helps me sit down and then leaves. It's all quite in the room until,"ANNNNIEEEEEE!", I turn around and see my best friend standing there.

"KATIEEEEE!", I scream back.

She runs up to me and wraps her arms around me in a tight hug.
"Ow ow ow", I cry out. I forgot about the pain in my back for a second but with her arms wrapped around me it hurts a lot.

"What happened?", Katie says. She's sounds confused.

"I fell off the bars and landed on my back, right after Mia sent me this text", I pull my phone out to show her.
"MIA SENT YOU A TEXT?", I nod.

After showing Katie that text, she goes into gym and I decide to check my messages. Huh. That's funny still nothing from Brennan. He always messages me! I decide to send him a text, maybe he's just busy with college.

Hey Bren x just decided to message you because you haven't messaged me this morning. Fell of the bars today at gym and hurt my back, it's just a bit bruised. Hope you are having a good day and I hope college is good fun! Love you lots,

I send the text then I get in my car and drive home.
