He's cheating on me.
All I can here is a girl talking. The're obviously having sex. This can't be happening. Why would he do this to me? He promised he would never ever leave me!
I sit down on the couch and start to cry. Uncontrollably.
A- BRENNNAN HOW COULD YOU!
No reply.
A- YOU PROMISED ME THAT YOU WOULD NEVER EVER LEAVE ME
No reply.
A- it's over Brennan. For good.
He hung up.
I start crying again. Worse than last time. I head towards the garage and get in the car. I need to see mum and my kids.
I start driving and when i reach mums house, I pull into the driveway and race inside.
My eyes are all red and swollen from crying.
"Annie! What's wrong?", Mum asks curiously.
"B-Bre-n-nan....h-he ch-eat-e-d o-"
"Oh Annie, come here".
She pulls me into a tight hug. I'm still crying a lot.
"I thought he was the one mum, I loved him, with all my heart, and I thought he felt the same way".
She just nods and we go to sit on the coach. I feel my phone vibrate in my pocket.
I pull it out and see that it's from Brennan. Great. I look at the messages and it's weird.
He sent me his location. Along with a message that looked like:
L L E M
I remember talking to him about that. What was it? OUR KIDS INITIALS!
We said that we would only ever use them if we were in a lot of danger or trouble.
I look closely at the location.
He's not in California.
He's in New York.
Brennan's in trouble.
