CHAPTER 14: Fuck It

A week later...

Gray's p.o.v:

I've been thinking a lot, about the channel and the fans and most of all Ella and Gabby and what could happen if fans knew something was going on. I felt terrible that we couldn't tell them, but I wasn't willing to risk it yet. I had plans to go out with Ella tonight but not like a set up date, just sort of a hang out. Call me selfish too, but I didn't want Ethan and Gab around. I walk into Ethan's room, he's on the phone to Ella. I know they're friends, but I can't help but be a little bit jealous, Ethan smiles at me genuinely and says to Ella on the phone
"Hey your boy gray's here, wanna talk" I here muffled voice laugh and say
"Fuck off Eth!" and then he hands me the phone.
"Hey handsome" she says with a giggle
"Hey beautiful, what's up" I smile.
She tells me nothing much and that her and Gabby have to pick up some groceries and hang around the grove for a bit and then come home. After a bit of chat she says she has to go because Gabby is yback and wants to call Ethan, I hand Ethan the phone and he says goodbye to Ella.
"What's up Gray?" He asks, he's been super nice, I think he still thinks I'm cut over what he said, but I'm okay it wasn't a big deal.
"What are you doing tonight?"
"I'm pretty sure Gabby and I are going out, some little low key band is playing and she wants to see. So you and Ella will have the apartment to yourselves, buddy" Ethan says that last part with a wink. I laugh and shake my head, brushing off the fact that I wasn't disgusted at what Ethan implied. But there was no way. No way in hell that was happening anytime soon, to be honest, I cared about her too much to just use her like that so quickly. But I did want to hang out with her more, I wanted to see her every day, her smile, the way her eyes light up when she laughs, the way she walks and talks with confidence, but how she gets shy and cute and just, I don't even know, and it freaks me out that I notice all these thingS and think so much of her, but I can't help it. Maybe we could go skating tonight or something, just something chill. I don't know, all I know is I want her, and I'm gonna do everything I can to make her know I'm completely for her.

*hours later gabby and Ethan have gone off to the band...*

Still Gray's p.o.v:

I get dressed into some ripped jeans and a black shirt, nothing fancy, but still nice. I check myself over in the mirror before grabbing my board and heading out to go get Ella.

Ella's p.o.v:

Mum didn't answer her phone, again... I guess she's doing something important, it's okay.

There's a knock at the door and I rush to it, distracting myself from the disappointment that my mum was too busy for me, I looked through the peephole and saw... Grayson. Shit. I looked in the mirror and saw that thank god I looked okay, a black halter top with high waisted denim shorts, a light bit of makeup because I was bored after Gabby left. I realised he was still waiting at the door and ran to it, opening it swiftly.
"Hey"
"Well hi" I said awkwardly, what the hell is wrong with me why am I so awkward with him!
I saw he had a skateboard at hand, I looked at it then back to him smiling.
"Going somewhere?" I ask mischievously
"Yep! You are too, grab your board babe" he says as he rushes me inside excitedly like a child. I got my board out and we went... He called me babe.

Grayson's p.o.v:

I was excited, I had really wanted to hang out with Ella and actually do something, not just sit around the apartment and now we were! This was going to be good.

We skate and i tell her to follow me as we turn down an alley closer to the beach but up hill.
"This is sketchy, you better not be an axe murderer or something" she says laughing. I laugh too and assure her I'm not a murderer. She's so silly, it's cute, she doesn't try to be cool, she's awkward and silly and cute all by herself. Made me feel like I could be myself, and I love that.
We got to all these bushes like a dead end and I could hear the waves crashing.
"This is weird there's nothing here, maybe you took a wrong turn" ella says giggling thinking I made a dumb move.
Before she can react I grab her and run into the bushes she squeals and trips, but I catch her and laugh hysterically continuing to pull her out the other side.
We stop when she notices the view,
"Wow Gray, holy crap. This is amazing"
We were on top of a seaside cliff, looking over the beach and the city, it all looked so alive. Ella leant on me and for ages we just talked and made jokes, it was nice. Then after a while it was silence. I looked at the time and it was almost 11, I nudged Ella, and she looked at me shoving me back, a cheeky smile on her face. The city lit up her gorgeous brown eyes, eyes I wished to see constantly, which to me was a weird thought. She interrupted my admiring thoughts when she got up and said,
"What do ya wanna do now Gray?"
"That accent ella, I'll never get tired of it" I laugh.
She laughs and helps me up, then she wraps her arms around my neck, giving me a tight hug, and I hold her.
"Thank you, this is so special" she whispers into my ear.
She pulls away from me and I just look at her, she looks down seeming self conscious,
"What are you looking at?" She asks trying to sound tough
"You" I shrug like it's obvious
She laughs nervously and looks back up at me, and it was then I decided.
"Fuck it" I gush, and before I lose my nerve I grabbed her face and smash our lips together, she snaked her arms around my neck and stepped closer, closing the space between us. It was a passionate kiss, and when she broke away she bit her lip and giggled, and lead me by hand through the bushes back to the road. I couldn't help but smile.
"Ice cream?" She she asked me hopefully, still a flush on her cheeks,
"Ice cream!" I said a little too excitedly, and she laughed, still holding my hand.
"You're so extra" she shook her head and lightly laughed.
"Only for you, you're my little goof, Ell"
"And you're mine" she said squeezing my hand.
And I couldn't help but grin.

How exciting! Lol. Anyway there's that, hope you like it was much as we like writing it.
