CHAPTER 17: A Quiet Night In

Ethan's p.o.v:

"Chips?"
"Check."
"Sour worms?"
"Check."
"M&Ms?"
"Check."
"Chocolate bars?"
"Check."
"Soda?"
"Yep."
"Sheets?"
"Got them."
"Pillows?"
"Check."
"Oh, I know, do we have the doona's?"
"Sure do."
Gabby and I were making sure we had all the snacks ready for tonight, we couldn't think of anything else to do on a Friday night so of course we were doing the most appropriate thing we as a group of 18 year olds could think of, we were having a movie marathon and putting up a pillow and blanket fort.
"Okay babe pizzas will be here soon and Grayson and Ella have started the fort, lets g-"
"WAIT. We're missing something!" I interrupt gab looking panicked.
"What?!" She gasps. I laugh and with a smirk I point to my lips, puckering them. She rolls her eyes and quickly pushes her lips to mine before starting to walk away toward the lounge room, I pull her back,
"That's all I get?" I playfully pout running my fingertips up and down her arms. I feel goosebumps rise on her skin but she clears her throat.
"You think I'm missing out on building the fort?! Hell no! Now come on or you won't be getting anything." And with that she scampers off to the living room, me trailing behind.

Ella's p.o.v:

"Perfect! We are officially done our glorious blanket fort!" I exclaim, proud of what we've done, took us long enough.
"Hey hey hey- guess who bought the snacks!!" in came gabby and her bag of food...Ethan came behind her with a pouty face
"Okay let's start this fort. Jokes...", Ethan was disappointed because they couldn't help out with the fort.
"Sorry guys, grayson and I started building the fort and then we got a bit excited and finished it. But in our defense you guys did take a long time" I explained.
"Hahaha yeah because gab thought we had to check to see if we had everything like fourteen thousand times" Ethan said laughing at gabby.
"Hey it isn't my fault I just didn't want to have to go back again" gabby said trying to defend herself.
"It's only down the hall" Ethan mocked gabby.
"Okay okay calm down guys now let's turn netflix on get the snacks out and have a chill night", Grayson said acting like the father.
"Agreed", we all said in perfect unison. So we all went to cuddle up in our blankets, Gabby got into hers and ethan was crawling over to join her when I leapt over and snuggled up next to Gabby. Grayson just let out a sigh and fell back onto the pillows and exhaled
"Here we go." and ethan just stopped dead in his tracks giving me an annoyed look. Gabby and I giggled.
"Come on ella move" ethan whined.
"But, but, I wanna sit with my best fwiend..." I pouted putting on a whiny baby voice. But he huffed,
"Don't you wanna cuddle with Grayson?"
I looked to Grayson and smiled
"He chews super loud though!" I laugh.
"I don't care. Gabby tell her to move, please" ethan pleaded with gabby, but Gabby just laughed and with a mouthful of m&ms said,
"I don't know, this is kinda funny, who's more stubborn?" Ethan glares at her in a playful way, and slumps there defeated, but then I see him look past me to Grayson and before I know it Grayson has pounced on me and is pulling me back to his spot.
"Grayson I was winning!" I squeal trying my best to sound grumpy, but to be honest I loved the closeness.
"Well you're mine, and I don't care about you being petty okay? You've had 6 years with gabby, it's my turn!" He grumbles.
"You're silly" I say as he's pulling the blanket around us,
"You love it" he says cockily. I sigh, leaning closer to him as gabby sets up Netflix,
"That I do." I kiss him on the cheek and then he turns his head to kiss me and then of course ethan,
"Um excuse me, can we leave the face sucking until after the movie?" Pulling a sassy face. I squint my eyes at him.
"You may be internet famous, but you can't tell me what to do (I was play fighting of course). He then narrows his eyes at me,
"Deal with it."
I laugh and roll my eyes, turning back to the screen as the movie starts and I pop a sour worm in my mouth. Grayson drapes his arm around me, gently rubbing my back, I feel his hand trace lower until it brushes on my butt. I look to him with a small smirk,
"God Gray, have some self control please" he laughs at me and brushes his hand there again, challenging me. I leap on top of him grabbing his wrists, but I'm no match as he throws me back off him pinning me back where I was.
I laugh,
"Hands to yourself Grayson!" I say and when he lets me go still laughing I smack his shoulder. Gabby and Ethan give us weird looks and Gabby winks at me, but I decide to mock ethan from earlier when he gives me a look,
"Deal with it." I say copying him. We all laugh before Gabby says
"Now shut the fuck up, it's about to get good." She rushes, not taking her eyes off the screen, and we all turn our full attention to the movie, well I see ethan cuddling gabby and she cuddles back, but she's really into the movie, I let out a small laugh at how gabby honestly didn't give a damn, before kissing Grayson's cheek and continuing to watch the movie.
