Chapter 15: So Confused

Kaya hindi ako makapag-update ng The Wedding Crasher at nung ibang stories ko.

Chapter 15: So Confused

It's my day off. Finally. Gusto kong gawin ang dating gawi namin nina Sofia at Thea. Kaya lang hindi sila available.

Nag-rounds muna ako sa mga wards ng patients ko bago nag-check out at pumunta ng counter. Naabutan ko si Juliannse sa counter. I smile. And waved at her. "May new deliver ba ng mga vaccines?" Pangungumusta ko. Tumunghay siya sa akin at ngumiti rin bago kinuha ang isang log book.

"Hmm.. Bukas pa ang schedule ng Delivery ng mga vaccines. 'Yung bago nga palang doctor, may meeting daw bukas, na-update ka ba?" Mahabang sabi niya.

Napataas ang kilay ko. "Really? Hindi ako na-inform. Pero ita-try kong um-attend. The board members won't call a huge meeting if it's a simple doctor. Must be one of the more influence Family in the business industry." Biro ko at binigay na sa kaniya ang supot ng subway. Gulat naman niya akong tiningnan pero ngumiti lang ako. "We should treasure each other for the good work, Tita Marisse must be proud to see her one and only daughter being so industrious." I said and wink at her for the last time before turning my back in her and walk towards the glass door.

This is the day to refresh myself.

Kaya lang hindi pa ako nakakalabas ng exit ay bumungad na agad sa paningin ko si Kurt. Gulat ko siyang tinitigan. "Kurt?" Untag ko at cool naman niya akong nilingon.

He smile at tumingin sa hospital bago lumingon uli sa akin. Napalingon din tuloy ako sa hospital. Then an idea came in my mind. Kaya nilingon ko siya. "May dadalawin ka?"  Tanong ko kaya lumingon siya akin ng tuluyan.

"Andito na 'yung hinihintay ko." Biro niya kaya napangiti nalang ako. Hindi ko alam pero parang ang normal nalang ng dating sa akin ng sinabi niya. "It's your day off,  right?" Tanong niya at aktong bata akong tumango habang nakahawak sa strap ng duffel bag ko. He smile. Then ruffled my hair. "Can I accompany you?" Tanong niya. Tumango nalang ako. Siyempre naman, gusto ko. "Then, shall we go now?" Tanong niya at tumango ako.

Pinagbuksan niya pa ako ng pinto. Papasok na sana ako nang-"Ms. Dez."

Nilingon ko si Ivan. He's just wearing a gray cotton shirt and black pants. But the appeal is so attracting-"Yes?" Pagpuputol ko sa sarili kong imahinasiyon.

He looks serious so I excused myself to Kurt at nilapitan siya. "Did you receive the news?" He asked.

"Yes. Nasabi na sa akin ni Julianne. By the way, what time is the meeting for tomorrow?" I asked.

"Sharp 11:30." He answer seriously while looking at me with those calm eyes. I slowly nodded and turn to Kurt. He smile to me so I smile back then turn to Ivan.

"So, I'll get going now. May lakad kase kami ng kasama ko." Kaswal na sabi ko at nag-bow. He just nod and then break our eye contact. He look to the woman in the entrance.

"I'll go ahead too." He said and walk towards the woman. Hindi ko alam pero gusto ko sanang tumalikod na-ngunit ayaw namang sumunod ng mga paa ko. Para silang may sariling kontrol at hindi ko magawang humakbang at tumalikod na.

Parang gusto ko siyang habulin. Kaya lang. Wala naman akong maayos na dahilan laa humabol.

And now. I'm so confused. Why would I want to follow him when the one I love is here with me? Should I consult to my doctor; Thea? Oh shiz. I'm making a big deal to this.

"Hey." My heart almost jumped when Kurt said something.

"W-whaat?" Gulat kong tanong and he chuckled.

"I'm asking you if that's your boyfriend.." he asked with a smirk. And I almost catched my breathe. "Just kidding. So, shall we go?" He said and put his arm around my neck then I felt his breathe in my ears. "...You're really obvious. Yll." He whispered and I feel like my face is like a tomatoe.

Shocks. What the hell is this?

He smirk. "So let's go and refresh your mind. Mukhang nablangko ka na." He teased and I spunked him in his arm. Ouch. That hurts.

"You're making me blushed like a tomatoe, you teaser!" I accused him and he just chuckled and drag me inside the shot gun seat with care.

He entered the Driver's seat then turn to me with his killer smile. Tsk. "...And I'll help you to confirm certain things that you're drown of." Then he wink before starting the engine and droving fast away.

Away from him.
