"I hate you" (Y/N) said, tapping her foot on the carpet as she glared at Harry, her glare sharpening every single moment that she looked at him. She eventually crossed her arms across her chest, as she finally looked away, looking out the window as she heard him scoff.

"The feeling is mutual" He retorted, she mocked his face

"Crap head" she mumbled

"Bitch"

"Snob"

"You know what you are, Your a-"

"Okay okay stop it you two!" (Y/N)'s friend said, scolding Harry and (Y/N) as they rolled their eyes, looking away from each other

The only reason the two had to hang out with each other was because, (Y/N)'s best friend and Harry's fellow teammate were dating, and they were forced to hang out with each other. And most of their conversations ended in angry huffing or profanities.

Normally, the average person would just walk away from the argument and stay away from that person. Yet, (Y/N) and Harry were like magnets. They were attached to each other from the constant bickering. It was like the enjoyed hating each other. They lived for every moment that they had to try to get a rise out of the opposite person.

Deep deep down, in (Y/N)'s soul, she felt this odd and strange connection and attraction to Harry. If they went even only a few days without seeing each other, it was like they couldn't live without it, they needed each other in their lives, whether they liked to admit it or not

"Are you going to the party Saturday?" Harry mumbled, like a five year old after throwing a tantrum

(Y/N) shrugged "Why? Why would you care anyways?"

"I don't know, it's just a damn question, why do you have to always be so offensive?" Harry asked as (Y/N) huffed, getting all offensive as she rolled her eyes

"I'm not! I just don't understand your damn concern in my business! But yeah I'm going- so stay out of my shit" she said as her friend muffled a laugh

"You two are like an old bickering couple I swear, shut up" she said as (Y/N) hit her arm, causing Harry to nearly spit out his drink as she got up and hit his arm

About twenty minutes later the boys were playing FIFA as the girls say upstairs in (Y/F/N)'s bedroom

"You like Harry don't you?" She asked as (Y/N) cuddled the pillow, burying her face into it, groaning, trying to hide her blush

"I mean- I don't know, a little a guess. I mean what's not to like? Right? Why am I telling you this, this was like my dirty little secret" she said, letting out a huff as he friend placed a reassuring hand on her shoulder, looking away from her phone

"Aw! I knew it! So that's why you are going to the party! You just wanted to see your man" She exclaimed as (Y/N) rolled her eyes

"Well yeah, and "my man" he's not mine! Not to mention, this is why I don't tell you anything" (Y/N) said as he best friend just squealed again

"Oh I'm glad you did! Since that party is soon, and I can lend you a dress that will make sure he'll fall for you"

But (Y/F/N) didn't need to worry about that, since Harry was already head over heels for (Y/N)

"Okay, so I like her, and what? Why do you ask?"

His teammate shrugged "Oh I don't know, cause its like you sass her every five minutes, but I know a long time ago you said you liked her" he stated as Harry shrugged

"I do! I don't think she likes me back"

He rolled his eyes "Oh please- of course she does, just wait till the party, in pretty sure my girlfriend and I can work something-"

"Don't! Don't you dare pull anything"

Yeah right

And as it was planned, Saturday approached quickly as, (Y/N) and Harry were now sitting at the same table

"Could you believe they left us alone together, unbelievable" (Y/N) said as Harry scoffed, knowing that if this was going to work out, he'd have to make this first move

She looked incredible, her hair was done beautifully and her gown was gorgeous, and if was the perfect timing for Harry to ask a question he had been dying to ask

"Hey uh- do you think we can put our differences aside for a night and uh maybe you'd like to dance?" Harry said as she blushed,

"You know what? I think I'd really like to"
