"Aren't you going to take that off?" Dean asks. I grab the book that's on the bag and open it up. I ignore Deans comment and start reading even though I can't concentrate.

"Hello?" Dean says. I look up from the book and look him straight in the eyes. "What?" I say with a serious tone.

This seems to surprise Dean and he even shows it. "I said aren't you going to take that off?" This time he says it slower and quieter.

"No." I reply and glance back at my book. "Come on. I paid fifty dollars for that." He says in a whiny voice.

"I'll pay you back. Don't worry about that." I reply as I turn the page. "Kidding. I was kidding."

I'm about to say something else when Sasha approaches us. There's salty water running down her body and her hair is a bit wet.

"Aren't you guys going to get in?" She asks as she grabs a water bottle from the cooler. "Not right now." Dean replies.

She drinks water and then chuckles. I look and see she's laughing at me. "Reading at the beach? Oh, honey, have fun!"

I feel anger in the center of my stomach. "You know what honey? What's fun to you is not fun to me."

I can hear the anger in my own voice and she stops smiling. "I see." She replies as she puts the water bottle down.

Randy calls her again and she walks away again. I look down at my book as I feel my face get hot. This time not in embarrassment but in anger.

"Come on tinkerbell. Let's go." Dean says. "No. in fact I don't even want to be here anymore. You can go ahead and have fun. Just tell them I felt sick or something."

"No, no, you can't leave. The point of this trip is to make Randy crazy over you." He says. I look up and see that Sasha and Randy are laughing.

"I don't think I'll make him crazy." I reply with a blank face. "You will if you take that off." He says pointing to my shirt and shorts.

"If I take this off nothing will happen. He won't even turn to look at me. Not even you will." I say quietly. I'm not quite sure why I said the last part but now I regret it.

"Why do you say that?" He asks. "Because Sasha is here. I saw the way Randy and you looked at her. I'm not going to embarrass myself."

He takes the book from me. "Stop it." I whine. "No I'm not going to stop it. This trip is also for us to have fun. I don't want us to spend three days here and not see you smile and have fun at least once."

"I am having fun reading my book." He smiles as he puts it down. "Let's have my type of fun. Just for a bit."

He scoots closer to me and grabs the hem on my shirt. I stop breathing and swallow as he slowly pulls it down.

"Come on payjay." He whispers. His warm breath hits my neck and I feel goosebumps all over my body. "Okay." I say slowly as I stare at his eyes. It's like he's hypnotizing me.

His pupils dilate as he smiles. I take off my shirt and get up unbuttoning my shorts. I catch Dean staring at me as I pull them down.

"What?" I ask self consciously looking at the sand. "Nothing. Can't I look?" He asks. "Well... I don't know."

He gets up and pulls off his shirt. I can't help but to glance at his chest and stomach. He's well built.

"Come on pookie let's go." He grabs my hand and starts walking towards the beach. "Aren't you putting on sunscreen?" I ask Dean.

"Nah. Not right now." He answers as our feet start reaching the shore. "Too much sunlight causes skin cancer."

"I know Ms. know it all." He replies. The cold water hits our feet and I smile. "The water feels nice." I say.

"Wow. I like your bathing suit." Randy says. He smiles at me and I feel my cheeks turn pink. Sasha doesn't seem to like this comment. She gives Randy a face and walks further in the ocean.

Randy follows her behind and Dean looks at me. "He actually noticed me." I say. "Yeah." He replies dryly. "What? Isn't that good."

"Yeah he was just looking at you weird." Dean says glancing at Randy. "What do you mean?" I ask.

Dean shakes his head, "Forget it. Tell me sugarplum. Do you know how to swim?" He asks. "Yes. I do. Why?"

Dean grins from ear to ear. "Just making sure." He says as his grin gets bigger. "Making sure?" Before I can think right Dean  picks me up and throws me over his shoulder.

"Dean!" I scream as he runs in the water. He ends up tripping with the waves and we both fall on the cold water.

I swallow some water and start coughing. "Ew. Don't spit on me." Dean says. "I wouldn't spit on you if I wouldn't have swallowed water." I say after I stop coughing.

"You have to be careful. I'm wearing my contacts." I try to rub the water drops that are close to my eyes away. "Oh that's right. I forgot. My bad."

We both look at each other and start laughing as we sit on the sand with the cold water hitting us. "Did you see me trip?" He asks in between laughs.

I throw my head back laughing as I hold my stomach. "I did." He continues to laugh as he can barely speak, "I scratched the crap out of my knees."

"Me too." I giggle. We laugh for a few more seconds and then we stop. He looks at me with a serious face.

I look away feeling nervous. "What?" I mumble. "Nothing. You just... you look beautiful laughing."

My stomach turns into knots. The good kind of knots. "My laugh is so dumb though." I say with a low chuckle.

"I like it. It's lovely. I like to see you smile and laugh. It makes me happy." He mumbles. I smile as I look at him.

The waves continue to crash on us as we stare at each other smiling. The weird thing is neither Dean or I notice Sasha and Randy.
