The Manshion

My friends and I all lived in this huge mansion in no specific place. We each had a room to match our personalities. Mine was as pink and as bright as I could be, which is very. I pass Alice's room, which is full of sharp things, and Mackenzie's room, which is full of pandas. I open my bright pink door and flop onto my bed. What a day!

Mary's eyes had stayed the same throughout the rest of the day, but I still could sense demons around every corner. I guess that's what high school is like. I'd better get used to it.

I heard a knock on my door. There was the time lord, Elijah, with two warm mugs of hit chocolate in his hands, despite it being very very warm outside. He smiled. My stomach erupted into a million butterflies.

He handed me a mug. "Rough day?" He asked, sitting next to me.

I nodded. "Yeah. Mary-"

"Harry told me about the eyes. I think he's right, it's just the commotion of high school, and all the people."

I looked down. "I just don't want a repeat of this summer."

He took my hand. "That won't happen."

"How do you know?" I asked. "Your Tardis crashed, I thought you were dead for weeks!"

He nodded. "It was cruel for me to make you wait that long, but we had to. It was the safest plan."

I understood, but that didn't make the feelings go away.

"What if something happens to us? Anything could happen. If we've been abducted by gnomes and Furbies on steroids, anything can happen."

"Anything can happen. That doesn't mean bad things will."

I smile. "You're wise."

"Nah, I've just read too many wise tumbler posts instead of our science homework."

I laughed. Suddenly, someone cleared their throat from the doorway. Mary's husband, Sherlock Holmes. Elijah and I both turned very red.

"Are you two done?" He asked, looking bored.

"Yes, Sherlock." I stood up.

"Good. I figured there was no use walking away from this conversation, I would have figured out anything said here anyway."

Well, he wasn't lying.

"If you even think about locking up my bunny-"

"We aren't!" Elijah stood up as well. "We were just having a discussion." You could tell he was angry about Sherlock listening in. I put my hand on his shoulder and he relaxed a little.

"Good."

A crash was heard from the living room. The screams following however, were not.

Panicked, I ran to the room, refusing to let Elijah go first in case there might be any danger.

There was Mary, covered in soot, with her daughter laughing in the middle of the room. The couch was on fire.

"Bunny!" Sherlock yelled. He ran to comfort her. I waved my hand, and the couch's flames vanished.

"What happened?!" I asked.

"L-Lydia found out she has powers... and I did too..."

While Elijah cleaned off the couch, Sherlock and I worked on Mary.

"We were just playing together, reading her book." She held up Hamlet. "What? She's intelligent." She answered my quizzical look. "Anyway, they mentioned fire and BOOM! The couch burst into flames! I was right by it so I got full blast. Luckily, due to my powers, I didn't burn to freaking death." She seemed irritated. Then, she picked up her daughter and cradled her. "I'm so proud!" She gushed.

I sighed. "Looks like we'll have to make some adjustments to the nursery."

Suddenly, there was a crash coming from the kitchen.

"Oh! Just what we need. More furniture caught on fire." I remarked. We all went to see what the commotion was.
