Sophia and Chloe were in the kitchen, covered with Salt, blood, and bruises. You'd think, after seeing this every few days, I'd get used to it, but I'm not.

"Oh no!" Mary began to heal Sophia, and I worked on Chloe. Elijah made us some sandwiches.

"Babe, what happened?!" Harry ran over.

"Oh, I'm fine too, don't worry." Sophia glared.

Before a fight could start out, there was a large POP, and Gabe was licking a lollipop in our kitchen.

"Don't worry sugar, I care about you." He winked, and Sophia blushed.

"Could someone please tell us what happened?!" I asked.

"Demons." Chloe informed.

Of course.

"We felt some dark energy, so we followed it. A bunch of idiot juniors smoking in an old parking lot. They saw us, their eyes turned black, and then we were attacked."

"We couldn't catch them." Sophia reported.

Now I was worried. If Gabe, Sophia and Chloe couldn't catch a few scrawny demons, something was wrong.

I told them this.

"Don't worry Anji, we'll get them next time, we were just caught by surprise." Sophia told me.

I nodded reassuringly and plastered a grin on my face, but I was anything but reassured.

"..... so Freckles lost the bet?" Chloe asked Harry.

Harry nodded. "But I refuse to give him the money. It angers him, and he's in my head, so I can't anyway."

Freckles was a creature that was currently abducting Harry. Don't ask, even I don't understand half of it.

I flop on the couch and turn on the tv to see The Little Mermaid flashing on the screen. I smile, grab my blanket, and begin to watch.

"Uh, no, I am not watching this." Harry changed the channel.

I glared, waved my hand, and the remote landed in my palm. I changed the channel again.

Suddenly, the tv changed back to Harry's channel. Chloe stood near the television, looking at the little buttons.

I glared at her. "It's been a rough day, I want to chill with my showtunes."

"Oh, a rough day for you? Did you fight any demons?"

I had no remark to that, but being my stubborn self, I opened my mouth to retort.

"Come on guys, no fighting, it's been a weird, tough day for all of us." Harry raised his hand and kissed Chloe's forehead.

"Ship." I mumble, and flop back on the to couch.

Elijah walked in with a tool belt around his waist, holding a wrench. His hair was ruffled. It was a rather attractive look.

"The nursery is now fire proof." He announced. "I'm pretty sure we'll have to make many more modifications as Lydia gets older, but at least nothing will burn to ashes now."

"Thanks, E." I answer.

Mary bustles in, holding Lydia, fast asleep. "I finally got her to sleep. It took hours."

Suddenly, Harry screamed at the television. We all shushed him.

"Could you put Lydia in her crib? I have to sit and relax for a minute."
Mary handed her baby over to me.

"Of course." I took her child and went off to the nursery.

She was fast asleep, her tiny chest rising and falling. She looked more like her father than her mother, but there was defiantly some Mary in her. I smiled. She was definitely in for a wild ride.
